You basically have to absolute fuck the silver plate up with a small screwdriver run around the entire circumference of the cap and wiggle, prise and jam it open as hard as possible. Not easy and has taken me nearly half an hour to achieve. The cap looks like it has been chewed by a Rottweiler now but it does actually work in the end although I doubt it should be as difficult as it was.
Defenitely not as easy as this video shows. Removing the cap from the dragknob is almost impossibble without damaging/bending it. I finally managed to do it with a small flat screw driver though. But you really gotta give it some effort and force to achieve the removal of it. The quick drag is so much better than the original felt washers which where installed though.

Just fitted this in brand new reels fresh out of the box, it was difficult to take a screwdriver to new reels, just do it with confidence
