Our fifth episode of our Papua adventure has us in the last island we have yet to explore in Raja Ampat...Batanta. We found this island to be still quite natural with lots of wildlife and endemic species. Thanks for watching!!!

The guides were very disappointing. I edited out all the times I was giving them directions and they weren’t listening because they were freaked the f*** out.
And let me add that when we first arrived on the island the one English speaking guy was showing me fb profiles, “this snake guy from the UK was here last month and this German guy was here last year, do you know them…want to visit the lagoon?” I thought cool, these guys know what’s about to go down…not sure what the other guys did there but obviously it was not remotely close to what we did lol.
I guess they cant be all Apples to Oranges LMAO

Very impressed with Apple climbing the trees bare footed & attempting to catch the scrub python. I've had an Aru Island female in my collection for years. Never found a male to breed her to. Enjoyed the video ! 🎉😊

Had to watch this again. It was hard to tell but it looked like the snake was originally curled up in a spot that gave it a good amount dappled sunlight. A little surprised considering that the air temp was so high even right on the water. Wonder how hot that snake was.

Off topic but, what is the origin of Apple's name? Somehow it fits her so well. ...but don't let her fall from a tree ;-)
All Thai people have nicknames, probably to save people from their real names. Apple's dad gave her that nickname and then when she became a US citizen and had the opportunity to legally change her name, she became legally known as "Apple".
@@DMExotics Funny. I've always enjoyed Thai names and trying to pronounce them, but I get "to save people from their real names" :D I love the name and it fits her perfectly. Thanks for the reply.
