In 2020 to 2022 a lot of our good LEO decided to go ahead and get their pension started and retire. Too dangerous to be a cop anymore. They take too big of a chance of not making it home to their families....whether in a casket or jail. Especially in the sanctuary cities That's why the new hires category is up. I work with tourist so I get to talk to ppl from everywhere. I hope you guys are ready for a lot of the New Generation people that are given a uniform now cuz they can't seem to find enough ppl wanting to be a cop
Standards have to be high and no one can meet them these days. I would love to be a cop but my record wouldn't pass muster even though it's minor stuff from years ago. My dad was a cop for 20 years.
