I think he had plenty of time to get out of the area before they officially started looking for him. I think the ATV off-road park, the simultaneous music festival at Rockcastle Riverside, and the hours long traffic stop gave him plenty of options for getting out of the area.

I live on exit 88. Not very far from there and drive 75 daily. It's scary to say the least. My husband was actually driving on that road while it was happening. So scary!!!
I don’t believe JLR thinks he is a substitute for police, FBI, or other law enforcement. He is simply providing more in depth coverage of this manhunt than we would see on mainstream media. Can you name one instance where he has obstructed the investigation? If law enforcement believed that happened, he would be in jail now. SMH.

Years ago there was a similar situation in N. Carolina. The guy was hiding in the woods and there were flyers everywhere and pictures on the news. I forget his name. I actually remember b/c he and I looked similar and a couple people had joked about that. But there were flyers even in other states. I just mention it for all the comments saying that it’s being taken care of and everyone should just ignore it and go home. Informing the public has to be a top priority for everyone involved and traditionally has been.

About a year or 2 ago-maybe a little longer-the sheriff's deputies cornered a man in some woods. He was hide in a cave or crevice in a rock. It was a few year ago and I don't remember all the details. They caught him and it ended badly for him.
What a contrast to last year in where they were searching for Cavalcante..Then there were troopers everywhere Canine teams out day in and out and we were visually updated, flyers regular news report. Boots on the ground everywhere on the search of Cavalcante. Here with Couch?? They seem to have 'given up' after 2 or 3 days..🙄🙄
I do not believe he is in the woods he's sitting on the couch somewhere laughing at all the trouble he has caused I hope they get him and I hope they get him quick
He's dug in for sure. I am thinking he had provisions to last him for weeks if not months, perhaps even an underground bunker. I don't blame the authorities for not wanting to waste millions and millions of dollars to find him - I believe they spent north of 10 million during the search for Cavalcante - as they are never going to find him in the vast wilderness of KY. I don't think people realize how difficult it is to find someone in the wilderness like that, even if you swarmed the area with thousands of LEO and military, if he's hidden in a well thought out bunker you simply will never find him, which will result in tons of wasted resources. That being said i'm concerned they didn't see any law enforcement at all, this man just tried to kill dozens of people and clearly has nothing to lose, what's to say he doesn't circle back to 75 and try it again? It's a lose lose situation for law enforcement.
I think the urgency in this case is the assertion that he has thousands of rounds. Naturally he can't carry all that, but even a couple hundred makes him a one man army. The fact that he tried picking off random people makes him extraordinarily dangerous and unpredictable. He has nothing to lose.
And on the bypass from corbin and before you get to the end of the bypass couple minutes before turning right going towards bville too there is an area alot of people calls Greys
You’d think the best evidence that he rode something out of there is the fact that he couldn’t possibly have gone INTO those dense woods in the dark lol.
Tammy is nice lady but don’t go to her for legal advice . She said to tell the police if u been hiding him 😂. They would charge u wit aiding a fugitive and ud be looking at a 20 year sentence minimum .

I’m in NJ following this case. How are people only one county away not familiar with this case. They closed schools for godsake. Maybe all available officers are scouring the caves and specific areas. Very suspicious. Tammy was awesome!! I hope she stays safe while dashing!
They have law enforcement searching everywhere. Helicopters and nightvision drones. They don't want groups of citizens in the woods and in the way looking for a presumed armed and dangerous man. JLR's all wrong here.
I think they have a idea of where he's at and are trying to figure out how to get him without him offing himself to avoid prosecution. Yes the weather's nice but he'd better be a survival expert. There's lots of critters that can cause a lot of trouble for a person snakes bears etc. then there's the fact of nutrition and water have to boil water to drink unless he has mres.
The whole community of Laurel co suspected several days ago that he is no where in the area now. Or he would have been found. Yes London is a very safe town.

They've been camouflage helicopters flying over our apartment building all day here in Manchester, at least 4 of them.
