I had to go outside this morning. I lasted 20 minutes and came back inside. Been on the couch since. And that’s my day off!
I've lived in Orlando since before Animal Kingdom existed. I've been there once and BOY HOWDY was it memorable. It was my nephew's 1st birthday which is at the end of July (he's 18 now). After waiting 1 1/2 hrs at the entrance for my sisters, we finally entered the park. We were there approx 40 minutes with 2 one year olds screaming in the heat that my sisters decided to leave. So we left. No rides. I haven't been back since. Oh, and my mom had a meltdown and told each of the 3 of us, and everyone within earshot, EXACTLY what she thought of us. Not pleasant.

Oh Dinosaur! My favorite memory of my band trip there is when my friend and I decided to go in completely blind, not really knowing what the ride was. We proceeded to get quite spooked and told the person manning the ride as such. They responded with "what are you, 12?" I'm so happy you got to experience it before it goes away!

I wear Rx glasses & the bridge of my nose is basically the only area I use an actual setting powder on. To not lose the glow I get from my skincare & cream products, I use a finishing powder from Hourglass. I have a couple minis & they have lasted me years. Especially for undereyes, they work great. Luminous Light or Dim Light depending on how shiny you want to look :D

I feel like most people will say splash mountain was the best discontinued ride, but was it tho? There was a honey I shrunk the Kids one when I was a kid that was hilarious. I haven’t been in a very long time, but I feel pretty sure that that movie was mostly 90s and 00s relevant.
I am in a hotel on a decompress therapy. 5 nights. Watching you squirt the cream and it hit your face. 😂 Not going to lie. I had to watch it a few times just because I am really trying to be quiet. BOL I am struggling with my mental health and trying to rest, relax and decompress. 2 more nights then I go home. 😊 I love the joy you got in this video. You go girl. Mr Toad is my favorite ride! I was super sad when they changed the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disneyland.

Haven’t been to Disney World since I was 14. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride was one of my favorites 😢 I did go to Disneyland right after they opened the Indiana Jones ride there, so the line was crazy. Don’t know if the new ride they are building at Disney World is the same or completely different, but I can say we liked the Disneyland version enough to stand in that ridiculous line 3 times.
Oh I can’t wait to see you rip rainforest cafe a new one lol. I live in Cali and the Disneyland here has one and I swear I was FLOORED when I saw their prices. I get that they allegedly donate money to good conservation causes but god damn! When a meal and drink for a single person is over 50 bucks you’ve lost me lol.

Re Merit: I very much enjoy the Great Skin Serum, despite my still somewhat self-lubricating skin at 61. I also really like the mascara, I just wish they would jump on the brown bandwagon. Also, Florida is way too goddam hot for this Canuck.

Going on an Anneventure
Do you find the scent of the new Merit primer is off putting? Not in a fragrance way but one of those weird scents that non scented products can have? I smelled it in store but couldn’t get past the smell but I still kinda want to try it.
I never noticed a weird smell - granted my sense of smell is like 65% haha
I so want that Merit brow product to work for me but it won't give me the hold I need for my brows. If I go too long without threading them, I start to look like Bogdan from Breaking Bad and have to use the Got2B brow gel (aka cement).

I absolutely love the Merit blush in Fox, but it doesn’t last on me for more than two hours. I’m constantly touching it up. Apres is the only one that lasts all day on me. Is Toasted Teddy similar in color?
Where did you get your shirt?
I never cease to be amazed by-befuddled? when people complain about a makeup product being "too small." Um, the size of the packaging (which is what you're usually paying for)is not the net weight or product volume. So when the packaging shrinks but the volume/netweight stays the same or even increases, why are you having a meltdown about how small the blush is?

Can confirm, I worked in Africa in Merchandise for 3.5yrs and I always felt like DAK was hotter than any other park! 😂
