Recommend y'all do a frame overlay at the weak spot with another piece of frame rail and secure it with high tolerance, low clearance bolts only. No welding. That will put an end to anymore flexing. Plus you'll have a stronger frame. Keep up the good work and thanks for real, truthful videos so viewers get to see the real McCoy in these projects.

What a shame that the frame was bent, down to the fire I think. Try not to rush, I am not saying you were but things happen when you rush. Thanks for sharing your experiences, good and bad.👍👍
I like that your channel shows when things don't go quite as planned. Yes, the heat probably warped the frame but I'm not one to panic. If the frame rails were cracked at the stress points it would be a concern. The good thing is you know what to look for concerning catastrophic failure. Great job keeping an upbeat prospective.
The fire took all the temper out of the chassis rails. Sadly you'll have problems down the road. If you're towing any type of heavy trailer with that, it's going to flex it.
If the heat from the fire truly caused the frame to sag, (which it definitely could) your right the frame is no good, show truck, daily driver at best. Wouldn’t tow anything with it.
Agree....unless a person has a metallurgical background and knows the limitation of the steal used in this frame, I would not jump to conclusions. Just because the frame was heated does not mean it has lost ability to hold or tow a load, frames are heated, welded and patched frequently
Since this is your own personal truck why not put gussets and cross braces in the fire damaged area of the frame to strengthen it or graft a rear section of good frame to replace the weakened portion?
Guys you did a great job on the truck I wasn't sure about the color but now it's all together wow iven great job on the paint and body work mike keeps up the picks on the truck s and car,s and doing the grese and dirty part lol great job guys
There were tons of people in the comments when you were talking about using the fire damaged frame to make sure that the frame wasn't bent from the fire before using it. These comments were ignored. Fire hot enough to do the damage that truck had will be compromised and never have the strength and flexibility a truck like this will need. You put one super heavy load on that frame and it might give.

Once I replaced a manual transmission on an old ranger. Got the new trans in and I went to bleed the clutch and the bleeder broke in the trans. Had to take it apart again. I was so upset I threw a 1/2 in ratchet at the door and put a dent in it. Kept it for a few more years.

I’ve done the same thing with the radiator. Sorry bro that sucks. Truck is looking great though, focus on the bright side. Loved your t shirt, praying for your continued success.
If you're going to continue to use that frame I would definitely beef It up, with some cross bracing or gussets at that problem section that caused the sag.
Awesome truck and hooked on watching your videos truly love to see you boys always happy and smiling in every video makes my day keep up the amazing work and awesome builds
Was all that work and the parts worthwhile doing , you guys spent a lot of time on that truck. , It looks fantastic , be curious to know what the total cost of the rebuild was
At the time of copper rads, any shop could cancel a leaking tube by cutting some "winglets", cut the tube and bend each end and solder. Can't be done on aluminum by welding ?
The frame is weak at the rear of the cab factory on 4 door trucks with a 8 ft bed plating or boxing might be recommended love the build keep up the awesome content
So much work has gone into this truck, it would be a shame if the frame is junk. It will be interesting to see if they want to do all the work again swapping everything to a new frame.
That truck looks amazing 👏 you all have worked very hard I love watching your videos keep them coming. Once again guys that truck looks amazing.. Tony Swansea

I didn't think the frame was going to be off that much. It got so hot it slumped in the middle. Now the correction is taking place at the end of the blocks, not where it slumped from the fire. No matter how you look at it, that frame is compromised, especially now, because it's deformed in 2 places. I would've just shimmed the box mounts and called it good.
Woulda , coulda , shoulda ! That’s what I would have done rather than the chain hurting it more !Then put in the inner wheel well felt liners ! Now everyone knows that the whole structure is compromised! Really too bad ! Life moves on !
The frame is done.Over heated taking out the strength. You guys should have caught this. There can be liability issues related to frame failure on the truck.
Whenever I'm working near the radiator, I always cut a piece of corrugated cardboard and block the rad with it. After I dropped an end wrench and it brushed the rad on the way to the ground, and then the rad started leaking, I promised myself I'd never work around the front of the engine without cardboard protecting the rad. That was about 30yrs ago. Those aluminum rads are very fragile.
You should have just straightened the original frame- would have saved a ton of time and money. You probably could have just gone to a dealer and bought one cheaper than this is costing.
