Love the show. Love the sword fighting scenes showing with Maio and Hu. I can see alot of work went into making this series. Thank you to everyone who made this series possible.
Nan Lan actually showed a massive amount of courage here. She fooled her evil husband so he left her in charge of the house, she drugged the guards, then she freed Miao Renfeng. Of course they could only get through the guards to leave with Renfeng's skills, but Nan Lan was definitely a hero here too. I really loved them as a couple in this movie, I would watch a series where they reincarnated into a new life together with the exact same actress and actor, they were an awesome couple.
Love this swordfighting and the overall scene, so much feeling they gave. Same with others thank you for bringing back long lost good action scenes that was long gone since the decline of Hong Kong and tvb entertainment after the 90's

This plot line is actually not from the novel but I love this changes that let Nan Lan rekindled her love for Miao Renfeng as she save him again from death. As a fan of the novel, I have to say I approved all the changes the drama made and I actually like the ending of the drama better than the novel.

People are hard on Nan Lan, but all she wanted was to settle down with Miao Renfeng, but he wouldn't put aside his quest to solve the death of his best friends and he left her alone to take of her daughter by herself. It was rough for women back then, she was always in danger unless she had someone to protect her. Miao Renfeng's friend betrayed him and lied to Nan Lan to get her to go with him. I loved that they allowed them to get back together, even though the ending is still tragic. Nan Lan and Miao Renfeng deserved their happy ending, but unfortunately Renfeng sacrificed himself to save everyone from the Imperial forces.

The now husband, instigated everything, out of hate and jealousy. You are the same idiot as Lan. Lan was always an arrogant snob from the beginning. Especially when she was with her father and made him clear the inn, because she thought that she was the queen. Unfit mother like her who was incapable of talking care of her daughter. You really irritated me with your ignorant comment.

What a great actor miao ren feng ( lin yushen ) is! I just watched another TV show called --dating in the kitchen, He is the leading role---highly recommended.

All the actors/actresses were perfectly cast for their roles and they did very well. I cannot imagine anyone else playing their characters.

Whoever wrote the line "let's go home" and make Miao smile to his baby/ex wife at the end is brilliant, what a gentle touch to a bloody fight

说明他牛B， 天下第一不是白叫的：） 我觉得改编的挺好的，南兰不是那么十恶不赦，她心地还是好的，苗人凤很爱她，他一句“走，我们回家”令人感动。

@@Saunterer329 实话实说，金庸老爷子对女子不好，这点不如梁羽生。在他的笔下，是个男主都有好几个女子喜欢，但是不喜欢男主的女子都死无葬身之地，其实现实中，美丽的女子后面喜欢的男的很多，应该也有好男人吧。另外，这世上出轨的男人多了去了，都有南兰的自觉性，这世界就美好许多了，好在编剧是现代人，还是改的蛮好的。
