The point brother Nouman mentioned about Allah favored Yusuf with his brother, so powerful because I was overthinking with other's blessings over mine, while this is totally materialistic thinking.. We should never think this way, because Allah SWT favor people differently.. the one you see rich, you're favoured with something he wasn't given and vice versa.. The only thing we should fear in this life is messing with Allah SWT, no matter how much money you own or how good looking you are, nothing can top up the favor of "Hedya".. Being on the right path to eventually meeting your creator "Allah" should be always our main goal in this life.

SubhanAllah The dream of Yusuf (as) seems to becoming true, despite all opposing struggles his brothers made against Yusuf (as). This verse is the moment they find themselves witnessing that while they planned; Allah made them actually a source of helping hand to fulfill his devine Plan. This reminds me even of Prophet Musa (as). At that point of time when the Pharao schemed plans with the magicians against Musa (as) and it all turned out that the magicians were a source of evidence for Musa (as) in the larger plan of Allah. And the life of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) whose enemies did become a souce of evidence for Islam. (8:30 Qur’an) And [remember, oh Muhammad] how those who disbelieved schemed against you to take you captive, or kill you, or drive you away. They were planning, and Allah was planning, and Allah is the best of planners.
The brothers being in such a shock is probably not only because they wondered how Yusuf (as) could reach a position like that, rather it is evidence that they had no faith that Allah could do this. Imagine they ask him later on how it all happened and all, and Yusuf (as) tells them that he was thrown and forgotten in prision when Allah made the King see a dream and no one could solve it but him and that’s how he got from the most worldly disgraceful place on earth to the most high position in Eygpt. That’s sounds like a miracle. Well, Yusuf (as) never lost true faith that Allah could and would help him regardless what people think. This even somehow reminds me of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) who is reciting this and gets reminded that everything is reachable when faith is being kept that Allah can and will turn the tables to a bright future regardless how delusional people called him (saw).
THIS point of the entire Surah is a place where a massive CRACK is happening. It feels like the entire Story had come to the conclusion which its reader had been longing for since the beginning. Moreover, the actual conclusion of the Story might be the fullfillment of the dream of Yusuf (as). It took me by suprise that the truth of faith Yusuf (as) speaks at both places reflect each other. ALLAHU ALAM, since Sir NAK did share pretty muuch similar points I would like to share my fundamentally actual understanding of this place as a listener. Yusuf (as) was told that Allah would fulfill his favour upon him as Allah did on his Grandfather Ibraheem (as). The most beautiful favour which was given to Ibraheem (as) was his true understanding of Allah. A human being can feel nothing more precious in this life than a nearness to Allah. It is a feeling of completeness and a deep connection to the only One who is infact free from needs and imperfection. The highest level of this life is lived when being a friend to Allah, for that One has to acknowledge Allah as a friend first. People mostly confuse the fact that One can not truly love and have faith in someone without having knowledge about that Someone. His Grantfather Ibraheem (as) stood his ground throughout the most difficult trials for no other reason than him knowing Allah well. So much so that he turned down the help of Gebreel (as) when he offered his help when Ibraheem was about the be thrown into a giantic fire. Ibraheem (as) knows that Allah is all seeing and the compassionately closest to him in all circumstances. The problem with the brothers of Yusuf (as) from the beginning was not their hatred towards Yusuf (as) but the illusionary concept they had about Allah. The evil actions were the symptome but not the illness. They feared so much while Yusuf (as) despite being in the most fearful Situations was calm internally. This place therefore, showed such an icredible crack to the illusion of the brothers of Yusuf, which they kept running away concious wise the entire time. It is like they witness with their own eyes the enbodyment in the form of Yusuf (as) being the Prime Minister of Eygpt; through that the illusion cracks that ALLAH can ever be anything but perfect (free from imperfection. The words of Yusuf (as) about Allah being rewarding to the „god-conciously muhsineen“ is like a beautiful explanation and reminder on how he reached this point of his life. This is the actual favour Yusuf (as) and his brother experienced throughout a decade. It is being with Allah. That’s why Yusuf (as) probably invites them to the path they had been avoiding for so long. It must be a feeling of ease and sadness for him rather than a feeling of anger towards them. Maybe Yusuf (as) acknowledges that throughout his journey he lived a close life to Allah which was rewarding more than anything else he got in the worldly sense. Faith in Allah is not a choice for the survival of a soul. This place felt like the brothers had no choice than to acknowledge the true being of Allah in his just and compassionately, all knowing, all - wise essence.
The way way ustad tafsir the Quran is just incredible In Shaa Allah May I become Like that. Jazak Allah kair ustad and May Allah increase you In knowledge and iman Ameen.

14:15 "... this is my brother." Jazāk Allāh for highlighting that point. It is also interesting and worth to note that he said: "I am Yusuf and this is my brother..." And NOT: "I am Yusuf, YOUR BROTHER." Which is what one is expected to say under such situation and in normal circumstances. And regarding: 14:25 "... this is my brother as if to say now what." I don't think that "... this is my brother" was meant like that. But maybe he preferred to use it instead of saying "I am your brother". And also I think that they already knew his name, which is Yusuf, but they didn't know that he is their own brother Yusuf (How come you visit a minister more than once and don't know his name). And maybe that is why they ask him: "Are you indeed Yusuf" And NOT : "How do you know about Yusuf" And Yusuf(Alaihissalam) just replying:"I am Yusuf" wasn't enough because they already knew his name. Relating to them was necessary. Jazāk Allāhu Khayran. May Allah guide us and protect us from going astray.
If you win the battle which is inside is taqwa. The battle that you win outside is sabr...The highest rank of the believer is muhsaneen...May Allah guide us all to become muhsaneen Ameen

After 1 hour he said that if someone oppressed is asking for justice we can't say to him to be patient and get his reward in the Hereafter because by doing so we are helping unjustice to happen. Actually the Prophet PBUH said exactly this to the family of Yasir when they were tortured in Meccah. Of course it was because of the strategy of the Prophet PBUH back then. So it depends on the situation. And Allah knows better.

28:30 I believe the real favour of Allah on Hazrat Yousaf and Binyamin was that no matter what they went through in life they were never one to oppress others unlike their brothers.....

After 1 hour he said that if someone oppressed is asking for justice we can't say to him to be patient and get his reward in the Hereafter because by doing so we are helping unjustice to happen. Actually the Prophet PBUH said exactly this to the family of Yasir when they were tortured in Meccah. Of course it was because of the strategy of the Prophet PBUH back then. So it depends on the situation. And Allah knows better.
