- The heartbreaking events in Gaza have exploded into a tsunami of waves across the world prompting an unprecedented awareness and shift in the way the world now perceives the Palestinian people, Palestine, and Israel.
A mix of hundreds of millions of all ethnicities, religions and age-groups have voiced their objection to the onslaught of oppression and killings of Palestinian children and adults, protests, boycotts, media campaigns, prayers, tears, unity and objection.
These angelic Palestinians have unconsciously given rise to large numbers of non-Muslims globally to look favorably at Islam and even converting/reverting to Islam, after they witnessed the unmatched spirituality, strength and faith of the Palestinians, men, women and children alike.
At the same time, many have developed an interest in knowing the facts about Islam’s view of those it terms ‘People of the Book’, why Muslims call them that, how Islam stands out compared to them, the position of the Quran to the Bible of the Jews and Christians, what Islam actually stands for, the Quran’s position to the Old and New Testaments and its adherents among the Christians and Jews.

Salam, if I may recommend listening to a political analyst Sami Hamdi. He provides a good perspective on the importance of the voice of people I.e. protests and such. I believe this is still relevant if not more relevant for us muslims in our Muslim countries.

I have a question- if the Jews of today follow Talmud instead of the original Torah and the Christians follow the New Testament instead of the original Gospel, can they be taken as the people of the Book when a lot of them are atheists too?

I am a jew and we don't follow just the Talmud. We follow the Torah and the Talmud is a later interpretation we also study but not in the same way. We don't believe in the Enjil
Instead of boycott, I believe give charity to Palestinian is more important right know.

With all due respect, I completely disagree on the protest issue after giving it considerable thought. There are many reasons but from a merit perspective, there is absolutely no evidence to show protests work. The only example that was effective was the Canadian trucker convoy only because it disrupted the entire supply chain system and affected the pockets of people in charge of decision making.
Secondly there is not only mixing of genders in these things but mixing is ideologies which is much more dangerous. You have people in there who are LGBTQ, feminists, liberals and rioters. The protest itself is only a build up towards a strong enough force that will inevitably be hijacked by Machiavellian interests to be used for self gain just like BLM was.
There are also harmful protests like blocking highways. And we know the prophet forbid blocking the road and causing evil upon roads.
The evils of protests far outweigh the little good from it.
How about the propaganda on the news and tv. They won't show the truth on their. They won't show the truth that the Zionist are racist and cause the palest many suffering on a daily basis
