I made bracelets like this as a kid.. I'm 38 now And I wanted to teach my 8 yr old but I completely forgot how it was done😂. Your tutorial is a perfect memory refresh & thanks for teaching me how to do the stripe & chevron pattern. I never knew how to do those 2 patterns. Thank you!

Somehow I've cocked this up every time.
It's alright though, cos halfway through the last one I realised none of my construction buddys would want to wear a bracelet anyway, so I'm gonna stitch a bunch of my fails together and make a can holder for my beer!

I haven't met a person yet that doesn't love getting bracelets, my guy friends usually put them on their Keychain if they don't wear them. I like the beer cozy idea though!!

Yeah but when she does the knots she doesn't have the camera far away enough for us to visually see it. After she creates the not then you can see what she's doing as she's pushing it back.... Other people are probably terrible at tutorials. But yea I had to slow it all the way down on the second bracelet style to figure that out lol

39yo here refreshing my memory on how to make these. I made soo many of these as a kid. I used to use a safety pin instead of tape so I could attach it to my pant leg and work on it without a table. Never knew how to do the Chevron pattern tho, that’s next level! 😆

I really like the way you explain things. I've seen other videos where the person overcomplicates what they're trying to do, and that really makes the whole process a lot less fun. You don't overcomplicate the explanation, and as a result, people learn how to make these, and have fun making them. I know I did. Thanks!

how to tie the bracelet: just feed all of the strings through the loop and tie a knot around the loop to secure it. then cut off the excess.

Beginner tip: Whenever I make the twisty one for my bracelet shop, I tape down the middle string(s). But, if you want to have different colored sections like in the vid, you don’t have to do this.
I love how easy this tutorial is!!! Normally I have a hard time making things but so far in the past few days I’ve made 2/3 of the bracelets in this vid so far 🥰
You are an angel! I just tried making some bracelets with my daughters and had no idea what I was doing so we ended up just making braids lol I couldn't tie them properly so they're not adjustable but it was still fun spending time with my girls. We'll be using your video next time, thank you 💕

I’m 25 and bought a huge friendship bracelet kit at dirt cheap that I found. Never knew how to make them as a teenager/preteen, well never had anyone to wear one with either, and I always wanted one of those kits. Anyways, here I am learning to make them for my mom and I to wear together. Lol

These should be perfect for some multicolored drawstrings for fabric bags I'm making. They're Hogwarts house crest fabrics, so I figure I'll do double strands of the field color (crimson, blue, green, yellow) and singles - for thinner stripes - of the charge color (gold, silver [they used the film colors], silver, black).

For the first one I think you just cut the string and tie it through the loop as it is already a knot and won’t come undone :)
