More Theo Walcott please. Very articulate and well spoken, knows his stuff
Agree but he's got to chop that ponytail off 😂.
Love him but I completely disagree, felt like he was waffling from the question alot
Got to disagree, he seems nervous and waffling a bit but he will become better with time.
Got to agree to disagree about the agreeing and disagreed
He doesn’t know us sadly so it doesn’t matter
How city weren't down to 10 is a disgrace
@@LetMeEat-KalvinPhillips🤡🤡🤡
Same as how hwang wasn't sent off in first half of last week's game.
@@zkullkrusher5780? What you on about lad 😂😂😂
@LetMeEat-KalvinPhillips avoiding punishment because your playing terrible isn't really how it works
@@zkullkrusher5780 didn't see that one. It a bad tackle as well
Saliba - Gabriel - Rice is the defensive foundation that helped Arsenal win yesterday. Haaland - who is a great penalty box striker - had an accumulated 0.00(xG) against Arsenal. When I saw Saliba chase him down and shoulder him off the ball I knew it might be Arsenal's day!
Spot on, I think that trio provides a strong spine. I think a natural, physical, CF to play centrally would add to that spine and give options to adapt in games.

Walcott works really well, talks sense, articulate, well spoken, intelligent, I'd be happy to see more of him
Everyone goes on about the absence of Rodri and KDB, but losing Gundogan to Barca was a huge blow. The magic of City was having those three on the pitch at the same time.
This past few weeks we lost on purpose...
1. To find out what it's like in a day in the life of Man United
2. To give Arsenal hope for the league again.....
They didnt “lose” gundogan lmao
@@LetMeEat-KalvinPhillips😂😂😂😂 that's jokes
Tbf...that's their entire starting midfield from last season, and none of them played yesterday
Gundo came to Barca
Theo Walcott did well , want to see more
What did he do well? What insights?
Theo Waffling
Don't forget to Thanx to these three players who came from the bench especially Thomas,Tomiyasu and Kai Havertz who assist Martilleni, what a combination to scored and win
Don’t forget Partey who started the move with a great ball
Yess
@@veeman879 yes Thomas partey
I thought you were gonna say Thankx to these three players who came from the bench their whole career to sit and give analysis in the studio!
@@SoftcoreStoner not only to these but to you as well
This happens to Arsenal too CONSISTENTLY with very suspect referring and dodgy yellow/red cards
VAR was meant to be the game changer that clubs wanted and needed but its turned into a nightmare..
Same ref who gave Martinelli 2 yellows in the same passage of play....against City too
@@3bladeninja21 that was against Wolves
@@3bladeninja21
Your so right I remember that game clearly! Was it same ref?
👍🤜🏽
@@spiderbrian you're right. Got confused with Gabriels red v City. Also 2 quick yellows. Not the same ref though
@@3bladeninja21 that Gabriel sending off was a joke too, ref was eager to send someone off that day
Arsenal won but the referees shocking again. If kovacic had a Arsenal shirt on he wudda been off.
I agree, the same thing happened to city last week with hwang, the rules are inconsistent
lol foden and haaland were getting fouled so much and they were BARELY given, the ref was shocking, but he gave way more bad decisions against city
or Liverpool shirt
@@ChuckNorrisFakeexcept it’s more important to point out these mistakes when your team wins than when they drop points.
So many people think your argument is weaker when you’re complaining about a decision after a draw/loss because they think you’re just upset about the result. It’s important to point out that these referees are incompetent because if you don’t, nothing will change.
Michael Oliver in particular is one of the worst refs in the country, but is clearly thought of as one of the best by the PGMOL as he often gets the biggest fixtures, speaks volumes about where they’re at right now.
@@ChuckNorrisFakereferees are awful in England ,and consistently big decisions are going against Arsenal ,the ones that really matter ,but small ones too,it seems like different rules for different teams
How was kovacic still on that pitch?? PL refs need serious training
Cheers PGMOL, we lost two players for the brighton game and City hold on to Kovacic after two worse challenges.
Stop complaining because your club isn’t paying the refs 😂
Pretty sure every city fan agrees bro. Just calm and enjoy the win. How do you still cry.
This is the point. It’s not about who you support it’s about balance and fairness. VAR gives the ref another chance to review a call. VAR bottled it both times here and when it happens to your team whether you win, lose or draw - you’ll be asking the same question.
The standard of officiating is at its poorest if this is the best referee in the league. On balance alone the second challenge is late, should have been reviewed and left to the referee to take a look and make a call.
Looking forward to other teams inevitably seeing similar tackles go punished and unpunished after the international break.

Masterclass from Arteta his four subs combined for the winning goal! Long ball from Partey, headed down by Tomiyasu to Havertz who laid it off perfectly for Martinelli to shoot & score! 😍 COYG 💪🏾
Never realised how well spoken Theo is, even kinda posh.
This is like that meme when boomer Americans hear African Americans speak on a news channel and they go on about how ‘he speaks so well’ like he isn’t meant to be speaking English properly, it’s hilarious
@@Timhouthichalametit’s not a race thing. It’s a class thing. Very few footballers are well spoken or posh. It’s actually highly unusual. Nothing to do with race

Theo! Theo! Theo!
Great to see him on the panel. Would like to see more of him as a pundit.
Theo Walcott so calm and articulate. He must be a reader
He’s actually an author, wrote some children’s books while he was playing
You can really tell Theo has been in the game much more recently. Has a much better understanding of modern tactics/ coaching
One tactical masterclass towards the end, I observed was Tomiyasu joining the attack to provide aerial challenge and more muscle for Walker, to give Martinelli more freedom, while Raya or Partey threw those long balls, of which one resulted in a goal
Massive statement win from us.. still early in the season and Manchester City are still favourites for the title in my opinion but a win like this lays down a marker. COYG!!
Theo on the panel👏🏽 well done sky sports
Cheers mate
In that 99/2000 season that Gary is talking about, I seem to remember them having a nice little winter break in Brazil. Then came back refreshed and walked it.
Theo goal stats is crazy ❤
I like Walcott as a pundit, very articulate and knowledgeable about the game
Walcott makes a good pundit. More of him please, makes a change from listening to Mancs all the time
These type of games, with similar teams and playstyles are usually a staring match until someone blinks. Both teams constantly cancelling each other out. A crazy chess game
Mika tryin hard not to laugh in any discussion is calssic.
“…are ya alright” 😂
Arteta deserves respect for that game he out smarted pep played peps way and just was very patient
Absolutely mesmerized by Theo's waves
I have to admit i was one of those fans that didn't see us winning this game without saka and martinelli. But that was a brilliant defensive performance.. Forget sexy football we were just desperate for the 3 points
why does micah always look so on edge and trying his hardest to stay quiet/not burst?
Surprised how Mike Oliver was able to restrain himself for asking Kovacic for his jersey after the end of the whistle.
He actually no JOKE works for U.A.E. Google it please.
City had a blip last season and came back, I expect them to do it again… the best thing for them is that it’s happened so early in the season for them
this is also one of man citys best start to the premier league season under pep a long road ahead gonna be a lot of fun. hopefully
Micah unusually calm that night :D
Big Meeks is everywhere 😂
3:47 Gary has a point;e.g Gundogan left City because he felt that he had achieved everything that he could at City. The hunger to win could be dead in some of the City players
hunger for sure isnt dead. A lot of quality dropped off. Players starting when they usually don’t adapting to a new system without stones de bruyne and now for the last few games rodri.
Decent observation from Theo and Micah - need more Arsenal legends on sky like Henry Viera Berkamp
Imagine declan, partey and odegard! Would be unstoppable

Arsenal have really impressed this season. I was really worried they'd come into this season flat and burnt out from the title challenge last year. Fair play to them
Watched the game against Spurs? Watched the game against Lens?
Nice seeing Theo here!
As a Liverpool Fan: Arsenal deserve Tor win the Premier Leauge Title!
you deserve to win the title if u win the title. Focus on your own club scouse
Theo Wallcott great pundit not convinced about the shirt 🤣
Theo Walcott is brilliant
THEO a refreshing pundit
City underestimated the impact of Gundogan & Mehrez
Easy work coyg
Declan Rice could be spotted urging Partey to pass the ball to Tomiasu, Hervarz and Martinelli; it worked perfectly for the Arsenal goal! Bravo!
Was not scared of de bruyne but was so scared of gundogan and mahrez
Are you kidding me, KDB always ruffles Arsenal
Capping a lot innit
I would like to see the midfield of Partey, Rice and Odegaard play of a run games.. , I think we will be unstoppable if they click.
Doesn't make sense with 2 cdms arsenal play a very attack heavy build up so wouldn't work, unless you have rice play cm idk
@@AkbarAli-vb9qyPartey can play 8 no problem
@@AkbarAli-vb9qy Rice plays the 8, the Xhaka role, he can't be worse than Havertz going forward. Partey plays the 6.
@@AkbarAli-vb9qy with the way that partey and rice play forward passes I doubt they’ll lose much attack power
Absolutely
Kovacic first tackle alone was worse than both Gusto's and Jones's so if both of those are straight reds this one was as well, even if you think it's just a yellow, there's not way the second one isn't, the ref is on the take. Still a quality result, three subs all involved in the goal, great from Arteta, Martinelli was absolutely electric. the presence of Rice gives us so much more physical dominance, we limited the best side in the world to 4 shots, that's immense and that doesn't happen without him doing his thing. Also Saliba pocketing Haaland is immense, what a player he is, we're lucky to have him
Wolves beat city aswell so I guess they are on par 🤣
So Wolves are on par with City
The disrespect is too much. PL prays City keeps this current form. That 6 consecutive wins has been forgotten
@@Samuel-cr9mcwhat's funny is that city will come back to win the league
Yes
City are missing multiple players that won us the treble, whilst I agree kovasic should have been sent off last game against wolves hwang puller of a worse challenge and wasn't booked, im just confused about the rules as it seems they change every game
no, they're better. don't be too one-sided with your comments. (2-1 sided) lmao.
3:00 Tomiyasu was instructed to play on foden, I would hardly call him a defensive sub honestly. He even made a cameo at striker
Theo❤❤
Declan Rice superbly save us from conceding early which really great for our moral boost.... Usually if you conceding early to big teams you will mentally down
Arteta has learned not to go toe to toe with everyone 😂😂😂😂
Interesting season already.
8 games in, Arsenal looking good.
Teams are having ago at City so that when KDB, Rodri, or Greilish are not available, to really take advantage for the sake of a healthy Premier league
Season is still fresh guys ....we are nowhere near the title the title runin
Theo Walcott!! Sign him up
Box to box ability of xhaka is really being missed here why is no one talking about it.last year arsenal were scorring lot of goals this year I feel like attacking output is a little less

Walcott voice though
Getting rid of Sturridge was the best decision @SkySports made this year. Walcott is much better.
Why are people talking so much about the absence of Rodri and Debryne only? Arsenal beat City at Community shield with both present. Arsenal also missed Saka and Timber. Nobody is talking about Timber.
Because Rodri is more important to City than either of them to Arsenal
Arsenal didnt beat city with any quality in the community shield. The goal was a huge deflection pure luck.
What was the reason for Arsenal losing to Lens?
@@gr3saeyend why was City not lucky? Did the ball run by itself into City's goal area and caused a deflection? Deflections are part of football
@@user-en1mk4ff3j No Kevin De Bruyne, who is Manchester City's best player, obviously.

Kovacic should see a red
This match showed the Arsenal team that with Rice helping solidify the defensive capability of the team, they can now win in different ways. They no longer need to relentlessly press and attack, continually trying to impose their will on their opponents. They can now mix things up!!
Arteta now has an amazing back line plus Declan Rice. This is as much or more as any team in all of the EPL has at it’s disposal.😁😉
Haaland only coplete 14 pass only for 95 minutes. Saliba-Gabriel is the Haaland killer
No problem with the ref wanting to keep 11 v 11
So does that make Wolves on par? Even Utd won City last season. You people are nuts .....
Last time we lost back to back matches was 2018 we went on to win the league, I will leave that there ..........
