I used to sit on the 2nd floor window sills to wash my grandma's windows when I was young and stupid. Your hostas are STUNNING! In fact your entire backyard is beautiful. And that new lamp for your office is AMAZING and lastly, yes, I would love a video on rewiring lamps.

Hi Sophia , I have a similar situation with my second story windows and the solution I found to work for it was to use my spin mop to clean the top window. I stick the mop out and up toward the window and mop it 😂 My neighbors probably think I’m crazy but it works.
My heart was in my mouth the whole time you washed that window, if our windows in Scotland opened like that, I wouldn’t be washing them for 14 years either 😂
Hi have you tried one of those spin brushes for the tubs that have the long handle stick? You can use it from top and bottom and it might be safer 💪🏼🙌🏽

There are window cleaning gadgets that can be used in high buildings where you fasten one part inside and one outside with a magnet holding them together. No idea if they work but I’ve seen them advertised.

I had the same problem with a window in my old house I got one of those magnetic window cleaner things u stick one part outside and attach the other part inside then just nove it it's similar to the ones u get for fish tanks
You have weird windows in the US. Here in Canada, our windows don't go up and down like yours does, they go from side to side. We lift one window out of the track to remove so we can clean. But you are a brave girl. I could never clean them at that height. Scary!
as for your everyday science moment - I am 68 - never had kids and I have one of those tires that refuse to leave even tho I do intermittent fasting everyday and exercise....its just more of us to love! you look great BTW and so does your bedroom!
I think your inside window in your bedroom may be able to be lifted out - usually by pushing it to one side - and then lifting it out 🤷♀️ and you never cease to amaze me with all your home skills❣️

Very pretty lamp never seen one like that before, it's not a cheap lamp going for nearly £200 on ebay .
You know, he did a great job with his landscapers, he actually has the entire yard over 2 ft of gravel to drain the water. That pergola is beautiful. They ve been here 5 years now I think. They have used that fire pit area twice. That s just too bad because I really like it.

I am petrified of heights and I almost couldn't watch the window washing. When you were leaning out of that window I just knew the window would decide to tilt in and you were going to fly outside. I'm so happy you made it Sophia. Now, don't clean that window again. It should be good for another 15 years😂

Can't do anything about the height, but, try using car windscreen wash. It's brilliant.

You can get double sided magnetic cleaning brush for doing this, Oh! Sophia I couldn't look girl you crazy 🫣 oh my heart !!!
I've never done mine and it's only like 10 or 15 feet off the ground. 😂
Buy Velcro tape,work great to attach things to wood and metal.
