- We had early access to the new Akaso Seemor 200, a full AI-enhanced night vision goggle from the makers of some pretty fantastic action cameras. This is capable of 4K resolution and with its state of the art AI chip, capable of full color night vision also! Why do some of these manufacturers put the charge port and SD card slot right where the 1/4'' thread is? That way you can not charge the device while it's attached to a tripod and operate it at the same time.
I ordered my set the first week of January. I ended up in the second shipping batch and they finally arrived yesterday March 16th and they are awesome. They did arrive almost a month later than I was expecting but they are worth the wait.

The first shot of your driveway & hoop looked spectacular! Looked like daytime, I'm impressed.
The clarity on this is so nice. I have another "full color" night vision set coming and definitely want to test the two. But so far, I have not seen anything that compares to the Akaso Seemor.

Hey buddy, I just got mine in. I can't get passed the language choice when you first turn it on. The manual shows the Menu button is the ENTER button when selecting. After I select English and its checked off, nothing else happens. Any insight would be appreciated. Also check website for info and nothing.
Good informational video. Do you have to use the app to download pics/video? You explained the buttons and options very well. Is the app worth the monthly charge for a novice user? Thanks, Jon
When I try to turn on Wi-Fi it stops at "turning on wi-fi" and the wi-fi never turns on. Any ideas?
Nice. I like it aside from the lag.
There is only a lag present when using the Akaso Aura app. Outside the app, it's pretty instantaneous.

Can you successfully use this looking outside through a glass window in a dark room in your home? IIRC, trying IR in such an environment leaves more to be desired.
The reflection of the IR on the glass will shine back and result in flared out video. The Color mode works much better through glass.

was that first full color shot with no IR light? if so thats pretty decent for the ambient light. also how is the latency in person? i know i saw some on the video but this is a video taken of a digital NVG so id expect more latency than just looking thru the NVG in person
The first shot was with no IR. You can't use the color and IR simultaneously.
The latency is almost nonexistent. Sometimes the color takes a second, but if you are holding it still, it's really good once it does its thing.

can you tell me what is the lowest zoom level? 1x? 2x?

Lowest zoom is 1x.
I got mine yesterday I can't get them to focus on anything. Level is off also so very annoying

My experience was my own. I am hoping in the future, resolution and speed can increase. Also, this was bought with my own money. I was not paid for this review.

When you ordered it how long did it take to receive
Mine was only couple weeks as I was backer number 2
It only took about 10 or so days to get to me. This was sent for review and wasn't part of the Kickstarter backing.

Yes , I was on the page waiting as the Goggles are so advanced with full colour that I thought I'd have to be quick .
Had to re-set my card though as had changed it else would have been backer 1 .
Then when I tried them they looked a little distorted...not much but enough so packed them away thinking faulty .
Took them out for one last Tey next night.....same ....only to realise lens had packing sticker on haha 😄
I just got mine in the mail today used it pitch black outside worked vary well i am vary happy with it color mode cant use ir with and pitch black its fir med to low light mode but the ir mode is amazing for super dark video recorder us okay not great actual device is great quality good visuals
Color mode works well looks pretty good and correct looking colors
Zooms works good but not super clear when 16x zoom
Foucus works well all in all well worth the 200
Also it is kinda zoomed in close
Little t8 no lag when useing solo
Can hook up to phone and have other people watch q little laggy their but on the phone
Can you mount these to a helmet?
Looks like is has the ability for that. I had the same thought.
@@6Sierra found a 3D printed wedge mount for 7 bucks that screws on and will work with most helmet swing set ups.

FOR SOME REASON NO REVIEWER SHOWS ZOOM CAPABILITY OR A NIGHT SKY SHOT, GOOD REVIEW BUT NOT A FULL REVIEW AT ALL.
I am not sure what you're expecting to see in the night sky...? The IR won't work (too far) and the color is useless, since you'll see the same colors looking up. I appreciate your input though.
@@torchesandtactical Stars and other things in the sky also emit broad-spectrum light including a significant IR component, and IR is also subject to less atmospheric absorption and dispersion, meaning more photons arriving at the detector. Many folks looking into night-vision are just sky-watchers, so we're only interested in how well it resolves the night sky - contrast ratio, clarity, bloom, those kinds of details.

Boring review brother. I don't need a full review of auxiliary menu functions, get to the point and show the performance. I have eyes and can see that there are strap loops, 1/4 mounts, and a cold shoe. Make it quick and start showing, not telling
