The fact that everyone I have ever known to have cheek piercings have said “don’t do it, I do not recommend.” Really is the only reason I haven’t gotten them done.
They wont get pus bubbles when you wash them super regularly like twice a day I LOVE them but you HAVE to wash them regularly.
I Will wouldnt get them becuase It Will look ugly on humans
I don't have cheek piercings but from all what i heard it will leave big scars if you take them out (u can try cover it with makeup tho)
I would recommend getting it when you're an adult (just in case)

I have my dimples pierced and they are some of the easiest piercings I’ve ever gotten. They healed in a couple weeks and I’ve never had a problem with them.

I got them like two months ago and yes, most easiest piercings 😂 the online problem is the long time the take to heal At 100%
they don’t heal that fast 🫣 they might feel healed after a few weeks but they’re still healing.

The zit type thing that keeps coming up on your piercings is called a polyp. It is common with piercings however it is a form of severe infection caused by mucus membranes. There is a very VERY simple way to keep them from happening. Clean your piercings often and don’t let makeup get under your actual bar. As well as doing a salt mouth wash. So take a cup of hot water and put pure sea salt or pink Himalayan salt. NEVER use iodized table salt. And that should fix that issue 😊😊 you’re amazing!
I do my cheek piercings today (inspired by you in a certain way) I've been wanting to have cheek piercings for 5 years because it’s my favourite piercing ever. I'm really in love with how I look with them, and I wanted to say that if you want something DO IT! It doesn't matter what people say, nor the consequences. Just be careful and enjoy the moment!! you're only going to live once and be afraid it just slows you down to be happy! 🌸🌸

@@luciarb4841 Of course! (Sorry for my bad english anyway) The healing process was HORRENDOUS, was swollen and getting pimples often but after around 6 months is almost completly healed. They look so pretty and the pain while i made them was around 5/10 so if you want to get them or you have more question just ask me ✨

What do you mean with completely healed? As in completely closed with no scars? As in dimples? Pls elaborate I wanna get them for the cuteness during wearing and for the possibly resulting dimples after some time.
@@christinathea5737 Hello! Is imposible to have no scars after this piercings, the holes need to be sewn by a doctor (it is just a stitch), and they will be dimples forever. You need to really think about it. for me is worth it because they look amazing and i want to keep them forever, and for me stitches are not a big deal. I hope this help you

As someone with cheek piercings I can relate to this sO much,,, I feel like if you're gunna get cheek piercings you're going to want to get them for a long time otherwise it's not really worth it?

The “pimples” you are experiencing (which I haven’t seen yet and this is JUST an GUESS) I’m not a medical professional but I used to work in a shop as a piercer. Anyway, the piercings are in your mouth which is wet and moist all the time, and you eat, and drink through your mouth (at least I hope so) and so it’s just all of that getting caught in the holes and chilling in there for a little bit until you push it out. I get the same thing with my lip which is closed for the most part but a tiny bit must still be open because I can push the same type of stuff out. That’s what I think is going on at least because I’ve only ever seen that type of thing with piercings that are in the mouth and mouth area. It’s nothing to worry about at all.
Yeah, I experienced that with my ashley piercing - which made drinking and eating hard for me. It was beautiful, but I took it out and it never really healed through my whole lip and I still have what you describe, sometimes.
I was worried and felt a bit gross, but if you say it's okay.. 😄

cheek piercings are so cute, it's a shame they're such a hassle. if they weren't I would have gotten mine done ages ago. good luck with them whether you decide to take them out or not.
It's crazy that yours start healing so quickly! I've had mine for about 1,5 years now, and the first 6-7 months they infected a lot as well, but I haven't had any problems with them since.
Mine do have balls on the inside as well, and the last month or so they've been leaking saliva when I eat (less fun).
They also leak if I take them out and drink or smth. Once in a while I like to take them out for a bit and brush my teeth/mouth, with extra attention to the holes just to make sure everything stays clean. Whenever I do that it streams down my cheeks XD

Whenever i get a pimple on/around my piercing, i just use some warm salt water and just wash it and the skin too

Ooo the bump around your piercing is called an irritation bump. It basically happens when you’re contenting moving or bumping the piercing area. I got an irritation bump on my helix piercings and I thought they were infected.... so I took them out o-o....I wish that I didn’t because I learned it was normal after the fact LOL...

I’m jealous that yours haven’t touched your teeth. My cheeks were pierced with barbells for two reasons:
1. Labrets tend to nestle themselves on the inside. Or at least that’s what I found with my lip piercings, even when they had room to move.
2. The ball ends will just slide off the teeth if I were to bite them and it won’t hurt the piercing.
But having barbells like mine, they do touch my teeth and I get the feeling that any dentist/orthodontist is going to be absolutely bothered by me if I go back with my cheek piercings in. So I just avoid it. They’ve definitely rubbed and for a while I had irritated gums because my piercer pierced my left cheek on such an angle that it goes UP and touches my gum.
those pimples you get are called cheloids, it’s excess of skin that you get due to friction, so the more you’ll move your piercing around the more chances you’ll have to get them

I have my cheek piercings already 2 years and it heals 100 % but it did leave two fake dimples scares on my face, at the first 8 months i struggled because my cheek piercings just won't heal and its disgusting. But now it heals and never have any problems
I just took out my septum piercing and I'm happy af I did. I wouldn't want piercings that never heal like that. I got my nipples pierced about 8 years ago and those took forever to heal. I never thought they would and almost gave up but my boobs were bigger than they are now and that did affect the healing. Still have them now and probably won't take them out until I'm old af and it's just gross at that point lmao then again 27 is old af to some youngins

I got mine done like a week before halloween and on one hand i love them so much but on the other they really are a lot of work and a huge pain to heal, you miss cleaning them for one day and they flare up like a bitch, its also really difficult finding labrets to fit that arent just black, titanium gold or rose gold :c personally i wouldnt recommend them to anyone. they also bruised up really bad for me and i went from having a slim face to having my cheeks really stick out and go from purple to yellow with the bruises, its mostly gone now and theyre slimmer but they do flare up often.

yes I totally get you linzor. I had them for around a year and although they are cute, they are way too mch of a hassle and like you said, they confine your look.
Mine fell out during a meal one day (had them 8yr) had water in my mouth, pursed my mouth and lips really weird without thinking and legit started leaking down my cheek! I freaked! 10/10 don’t recommend getting cheek piercings people tend to think you keep them in so long because they are fun but really we’re just scared to

Tongue piercing also heals very fast. I’ve pierced mine twice, cause the first one, apart from being poorly done by my friend at her apartment, healed in half an hour after I’ve had it for like a year and a half, cause I lost an upper ball while eating pizza haha
