One of my friends in Illinois, his mother was a dog trainer in Germany during WWII. Trainer for the Nazis. She married a U.S. Army soldiers after the war and moved to the U.S.
The SADF attack dogs weren't trained to attack arms as the target could rap an arm and while the dog latched onto that arm could stab the dog with a sharp weapon with the other. It's almost strange to watch the "target" without a full-face helmet
Yeah it might work for the Police but I always thought it seemed to put the dog in blatant extreme risk to train them to go for someone's arm and just stay latched on when in the Army. If the Army is sending a dog in to attack anyway then chances are the target would kill that dog in an instant if they got a chance.
@@l3gionmusic814 I remember a Colonel being irate with a dog handler because he shot a suspect rather than release is dog. The trooper replied: "I didn't know if my dog would catch some disease!"

Such glorious land sharks.
Where I live, we call the Belgian Malinois a Maligator. Jaws like an alligator, and once they have a hold on you, they do not let go.

A well bred, not overly muscled, xl bully would dispatch one of them easily
The russian's had anti tank dogs with explosive back packs. Very practical people. Is it fun to play with dogs?
I am no expert but what is the specific breed of the LandShark German Shepard? I think there are four?
It's good to know that the British Army have at least something with a bit of bite left. 🤣
This is what we need more of imo,and less focus on "Woke" being shoved down our throats.
