If you dig in four block hole, and then put a water bucket down at the second block in, the water flows out and you can enter swim and then enter the one block tunnel. You can then once you are past the water, collect it back up with the water bucket. Achievement access is maintained.
Not sure you can sprint then since the real crawling isnt there... good thing to test though!

I do this swimming method and if you have Depth Strider, you move so fast that insta-mining doesn’t work.

For those worried this does NOT disable achievements. That is farther below, under "cheats" Experimental features are exactly the same as regular survival with some added content that may or may not change.
You just need to create your world first, then save and quit, turn on experiments and return to a world.
It doesn't affect long term worlds created before 1.20.
Copy your world and test it and when you turn experimentals on to your world it can corrupt the world and i lost my survival bc that

It does unfortunately turn off achievements, if you check the top of the experimental features page when first making the world, it says that it does, it's stupid that it doesn't give you a pop-up like it does when turning on cheats

You actually can sprint sneak in Java. You can’t activate sprint while you’re sneaking, but if you sneak while you’re sprinting, you maintain that increased speed from sprinting.
Once sneak/crawl walk leaves experimental, I'll definitely try this out. Nice 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙂

I learned about something similar about sneak... while fighting a drowned I was using block and sprinted while blocking. Is this new or old
The new Crawling option disables achievements when creating a new world, yes. But it doesn't affect worlds that is already created prior to 1.20, with experimental options turned on. However, you can also do this without disabling achievements in 1.20, by creating a new world with experiments off, load up that world, exit the world, then edit the world and turn on Crawling and Short Sneaking option.
This is a UI problem, in my opinion, as I can't get achievements in a new world in 1.20, but I can in a world created in 1.17, with ALL experiments enabled on both. Knowing that the new UI on the Create New World screen disables achievements when experiments are turned on, as opposed to the old one, it does sound that a bug is responsible for this stuff.
I tested these on two worlds, one on my long term survival world and one that is a newly formed world. It enables cheats when I tried turning on experiments in a new world, but when I go to my 3 year old world and edit the options, enabling the new experimental feature didn't disable my achievements. Like I said, there is a tendency that this may be a bug, or something that the devs are going to implement soon. I hope it's the former.

Hi Prowl, I've started following your channel this year since I've decided to get into the world of technical players in minecraft bedrock. Let me tell you, I've done a lot of your farms and they're so good.
I've found that you don't need to have the swift stealth enchantment, nor do you need to have the teampillars, or activate the crawl mode (which disables achievements) to crawl at the height of 1 block.
it's simpler than this. you just need to have a bucket of water. (I will try to explain myself as best as possible, since I don't know how to write very well in English, I speak Spanish) All you have to do is be where you want to mine, stand on a wall and make a hole 2 blocks high and 1 block deep. When you've done that, proceed to mine 1 more block just in front ( mine 1 more block forward, where Steve's head would be), then proceed to place a bucket of water on that block (thus creating a stream of water), you press 2 times the "w" or the key that you have bound to run or swim, and the character will start swimming towards the wall. When the character is swimming, you proceed to swim to the top block on which the bucket of water was placed. once the character is swimming in that 1x1 block, and proceeds to remove the water with the bucket. and voila our character will be crawling in a 1x1 block, and moving at the same speed as if he were walking (if you want him to go faster just press to sprint and the character will move super fast as if he were running, only he will do this in a block of height 1x1). this is a suggestion to put into practice until mojang officially introduces the crawl mode without having to disable the game achievements. Is good to know this way to crawl, despite this will be removed by java's original parity crawling method.

Te lo explicaré por pasos:
- Colócate en la capa que quieres minar. En este caso como dijo Prowl, la capa -54 es muy buena xq nunca caeras en un pozo con lava, solo debes tener cuidado con la lava que puede haber arriba tuyo.
- Posicionate en la pared y (siempre frente de ti, nunca arriba tuyo) pica 2 bloques de alto con una profundidad de 1 bloque (la misma altura que tiene la hitbox de nuestro personaje "steve").
- Luego de picar estos 2 bloques de alto por 1 de profundidad, peocede a picar 1 bloque mas hacia el frente en el bloque superior (es decir en el bloque que estaría nuestra camara, "cabeza de steve"). Para ser mas descriptivo el agujero, quedaría como una L pero al reves viendolo en perspectiva (algo así : ¯⌉ la parte superior son 2 bloques de profundidad y el bloque inferior 1 bloque de profundidad ).
- Luego procede a colocar una cubeta de agua en la parte mas profunda del bloque superior (el bloque que estaria a la altura de nuestra camara).
- Y por ultimo solo tienes que correr hacia adelante, metiendote en la corriente de agua nadando (apretando 2 veces la "w") como si fueras a chocar contra la pared. Lo que sucedera es que el personaje nadará automaticamente. Esto es lo que estamos buscando, porque cuando el personaje nada, puede meterse en bloques de 1 de altura. Cuando estes nadando, tienes que meterte en el bloque superior que tiene 2 bloques de profundidad. Una vez que estes metido en este bloque quita el agua con la cubeta vacía. Y listo, eso es todo. Tu personaje quedará como si estuviese nadando, a pesar que ya hayas quitado el agua.
- Lo proximo sería minar hacia adelante hasta que te aburras o hasta que se te rompa el pico🙌😅. Si por alguna casualidad su peresonaje deja de "arrastrarse" (porque lo hará cuando no tenga bloques encima de él), solo vuelve a repetir el mismo proceso... es decir pica los bloques, colocas el agua, nadas y quitas el agua.
He de aclarar que esto es un bug que seguramente Mojang arreglará cuando meta oficialmente la mecanica de "arrastrarse" con las trampillas, sin tener que activar el metodo experimental.
[Dato Importante] : tecnicamente, el juego piensa que tu estas caminando cuando estas haciendo esto. Puedes aumentar la velocidad con la que te "arrastras" apretando 2 veces la "w" o el boton que tengas bindeado para correr. Verás que haciendo esto tu personaje irá super rápido.
Espero que haya quedado claro y que consigas muchos diamantes con este metodo😁!!. Si tienes alguna duda, puedes volver a escribirme, no es molestia.

How many blocks should you move over for your next tunnel? I would think 3 or 4 but was curious if you tested this.
3 if you don't wanna miss most diamonds in a chunk but tbh you'll have to test out which gets you more. 3 or 4

Unfortunately you actually can sprint sneak on java. You have to start sprinting before you sneak or I think you have to sprint jump and then sneak. I've tested it before.
Why "unfortunately" then?
You actually could run while swift sneaking on java! You need to be sprinting first and then crouch.
Hey Prowl could you use a potion of swiftness to make this even faster or would that not work with crawling.
Not while sprinting, it actually makes you move too fast, moving you too close to the blocks and stopping the insta-mine effect.

I discovered this way to get diamonds long ago, before the swift sneak and the crawling feature,
And i have a way to crawl without turning on the crawling option and losing achievements
First dig a 1 by 1 hole in front of you
Put a water bucket 3 block above you and take it just before the water touches you
When the water touches you quickly dive into the hole you made
This save your achievements its kinda hard to do it in first but you will get used to it
My fast/favorite way to find diamonds right now is just searching through caves/tunnels. It is so much more enjoyable and you not only get diamonds but gold, iron, lapis, etc.
It not the good way for finding diamonds since air exposure for diamonds is reduced in caves

if you use the fancy leaf method to find a chunk boarder in bedrock and mine between 2 chunks you have twice the chance of getting diamond in general regardless of how you choose to mine
A lot of peopel think this, but it's not true. Your odds of finding diamonds are no different on a chunk border than they are in the middle of a chunk.
First crawling attempt with 24 min of night vision got me 133 diamonds (2st and 5).

Nope, then you go too fast and no longer keep that perfect distance for the insta-mine
Fastest way i found is create a creative copy and turn blocks to glass and write down the coordinates, especially early game when i dont have any xp farms. The command i use is as follows:
/execute at @p run fill ~10 ~10 ~10 ~-10 ~-10 ~-10 glass replace deepslate.
Mojang won't let us sprint-sneak after seeing this video. I guarantee it.

Lastly: Mojang has announced to increase or at least change something with diamond rates.
Word is they already knew about sprint sneaking prior to me making this video. Odds are they fix it, in which case, you just use a quickness potion as well, and continue to do the same thing.

You can just use water without swift sneak and its faster because it has swimming speed when you "crawl'
It's not faster because you're constantly looking back and forth picking up and placing water, rather than just place a trap door and go
@@Prowl8413 All you have to do is place one water and swim into the one block gap. If you have depth strider on your boots you go extremely fast. The only time you have to pick up the water and replace it is if you accidentally break the block above or below you and go out of swim mode. Its what bedrock players have used for years as our version of crawling. :D

Its been like this ever since Bedrock edition exited, and has been used by people in lets plays and SMPs the whole time. The dev's already know about it, its just not important enough to worry about fixing... and probably runs the risk of breaking many other things in the process.

Having a world with achievements is about principle, not that you care about achievements themselves. Its the only way to prove 100% survival, if you have to sacrifice that then that's no different then going into creative.

I really love the idea of this, but, it requires me to go to 2 of the 3 places I don't or haven't gone to. I don't do the nether for anything but quartz and maybe a few of the crimson and warped "trees". I haven't been to an ancient city and hadn't planned on going. If you haven't figured it out I am a big chicken 😂🤣🐔🐔🐔.
nether isn't bad... if you can find a warped woods biome start there to ease into the other ones

Water crawling sucks, you have to scoop the water back up, and there's a bug that doesn't let you scoop while in flowing water. It wastes a lot of time.

it's very unlikely at -54. Just use a water bucket for the lava you happen to find at your feet.

POV mine at -54 and lava will be at your feet (or belly) level. If you don't pay attention though, you may still take a swim in it. I recommend some fire protection gear. I have fallen in dozens of times while reading chat on stream. No deaths yet :p

I cheat to get my diamonds and they caused me to do it. I use to get it the old fashion way but ever since they came out with that cave update, I end up with a whole double chest full of deep slate and like 20 diamonds. I'm sick of that so I've been cheating ever since and proud of it.
Imagine cheating, I literally have 77 diamond blocks and it’s from me traveling the world.
I personally don't need this method since I prefer to collect a bunch of blocks for building while finding diamonds at the same time.
This is the fastest way to get deepslate, since you are insta-mining it. So it works for that too! Just bring a few shulker boxes with you

Another way is to just make a tunnel bore it way better
If you chained a bunch of tunnel bores together maybe... I still think I could mine diamonds faster than a few of them, especially considering that you have to manually trigger them, collect the materials and run the farms to get the TNT in the first place, and periodically stop to fix issues with them, or clear out falling water/lava that may break them.

@ProwlMinecraft I literally only play survival on bedrock all Experimental enable and I get achievements unlocked all the time. Just did bee hive one today. Might want to recheck. Edit* I don't have custom biomes on. Or molang features either. Just the standard experimental stuff. Since the day I started this world about 8 months ago.
Go make a new world and enable it. Zero problem with achievements. I'm on xbox
@@Prowl8413I hope my previous comment tagged you correctly. I only play Experimental survival. I'm too impatient for updates but I also don't want to play on beta. Never had a problem with achievements. I finally was getting rid of my horde of beehives today and got that achievement. Your sheep farm works nicely btw. Just the right size production. Mine didn't turn out looking as nice as yours did though lol

U can use water for travelling in 1 block
You can also use a trap door... without buggy water crawling that takes more time to do.

I know this isn't the subject of the video but does anyone else think they need to make the parachute effect bug, that happens in creative when you come out of flying while wearing an elytra, a feature for survival. If you play using education edition you can give yourself the mayfly ability and teat it out. It's super useful and I think would make a great edition to the game. (In order to initiate it in survival you have to double tap jump while falling, so if you're already flying you have to close the wings then double tap jump. You slow way down, but can still use rockets.

@pumpkintheking2551 watch the video, this strategy actually shows you how to MINE faster to get to more diamonds. My testing gets about 1.5 stacks/hour

@pumpkintheking2551 incorrect. I showed how you can sprint insta-mine deepslate, which is faster than mining deepslate with a beacon, abd using this method to cover more ground therefore get more diamonds

A simple 10 block tunnet bore is much more effective.
Two days ago I was messing around and discovered this method but I was using the water trick to get into swimming mode. I have a feeling this method will be patched in the name of “parity.” So get your diamonds while they are hot before Mojang poops on our fun. 😊
