My mouth is watering. :) I'm a Montrealer but I haven't been to LaRonde for a few years now so I have yet to ride this one. This is definitely my kind of ride. I'll probably drop by next month... I can't wait to try it.

the first and second drop angles were nice and steep, looks like a fun coaster more of a straight speed and falls coaster instead of an upside-down-twisty coaster

you are making total sense it's incredible.
Hills induce a sensation called "Negative G Force". This lifts you out of the seat for a brief period of time, causing a thrilling sensation. Hyper coasters, like Goliath, usually play on this, and create very hilly and airtime-filled attractions.
I love at the one kid SCREAMING bloody murder for the entire ride. Hilarious.
I rode this ride at the Six Flags in California. That first drop is a lot farther down. It's some scary stuff. Especially at night.
you know in Canada there is a ride built like that one and it is called the BEHEMOTH. fun rollar coaster and that one looks at bit different then the one there.

Our class is going there in June for our grad trip. It's gonna b so much fun. Can't wait to ride it. Btw does this look similar to Behemoth at Canadas Wonderland in ONT, or is it just me?

This ride is in Montreal, the Behemoth is in Toronto. They're in the same country-Canada. And the Behemoth's first drop is two times steeper than this one.
i was looking randomly through comments with people who agree with me (i'm bored) and man your like the only person, some guy said the behemoth was boring

I've ridden both the Magic Mountain version and the La Ronde Version. I have to say that I enjoyed the La Ronde one better. Montreal's Goliath was really entertaining, especially if you enjoy the "airtime" portion of coasters. Meanwhile, California's Goliath was really scary. The drop on it is larger than the La Ronde drop, and it went a ton faster.
Basically, SFMM's Goliath is best for those who enjoy the drop, and La Ronde's is best for those who enjoy airtime.
Goliath was built in 2006 and Behemoth in 2008.
Behemoth is also located in Canada.
sort off looks like that but nitro has more steeper drops. i love the first drop :D its amazing!

lol it's the one in toronto is copy of this one (which is a copy from one of the major 6 flags rides, i think it's nitro). they're basically exactly the same. and btw, it's awsome

It's the Goliath !! Both really look like the same I agree. Go check a POV video of the behemoth and you'll see the difference for sure.
no, that's Goliath in Montreal. We see the Olympic Stadium after the first climb. Plus, I did it a few times. The best you can get at La Ronde without turning upside down!

The first coaster with Goliath name is the one in Six Flags Magic Mountain.
god the ascent at the beginning is the scariest bit for me. so this looks scary as hell :P

@krazykittie1011 Yeah, I'm 96% sure it is. I've been on the Behemoth, the huge drop followed by several smaller drops, the bow tie then the curve at the end that leads back to the waiting area. Probably made the same ride in two different countries.

On revient de là aujourd'hui (on vient de Québec), j'avait tout fait dans ma vie en terme de montagnes russes sauf le Goliath, et on l'a fait cet apres-midi premier siege en avant... WOW MALADE lorsqu'on est en haut et qu'on voit en bas devant nous quasiment à la vertical!! On l'a refait 3 fois!
