Apple uses stronger metal which is surgical grade and the Ceramic Shield does a lot. It’s good and protecting the screen from heat and a lot of damage. But Samsung don’t have it I’m pretty sure
Piranha solution is a strong oxidizer, meaning it wants to steal electrons from other materials. Glass is a very stable material and has no free electrons, so the phones dont react with the acid. Thats the reason why the foaming only started when he dropped the sponge in (an organic material, so it has lots of free electrons). As the phones are mostly water proof/resistant, the acid never touched the battery, which indeed would probably be dangerous. The Samsung phone probably had some kind of screen protector with organic materials. This video is just clickbaity. A cooler reaction would be if he put his hand in Piranha solution.

The solution is an incredibly strong oxidizer in the presence of organic molecules (those containing carbon, the black stuff) and binds carbon to oxygen, making the solution clear again. The sponge was added because sticking objects without exposed carbon (like the phones) in the solution does nothing at all. But once it leaked into the OLED layer (O is for organic), the solution turned black again because it was short on hydrogen peroxide. Without carbon, adding more hydrogen peroxide doesn’t actually do anything.
@@JS-kc1tm only when when sponge is added to the acid it begins to react, just adding it to the phones or taking bath in it is safe as long as there is no sponge or something else that reacts with that specific acid
@@lyte561 so taking a bath in acid is perfectly safe? let's just agree to disagree on that one. and the way NileRed made his piranha solution, it didn't take sponges to make it react, he only added the hydrogen peroxide to the acid, and his solution completely dissolved a whole chicken leg with the bones and everything. so idk what this guy's version is. although NileRed did make his solution in a stirrer, so maybe that has something to do with it? Nokia :The babies are growing up so fast.
Good to know because I'm prone to dropping my phone in this very specific mixture.
my heart when i watched 2000€ blowing up: 💔
The piranha mixture is a strong oxidizing agent, it will remove most organic matter. i think phones are not a organic materials Also i think you dont make phirania becouse you mix this too fast.
Samsung phones come with screen protectors, you gotta remove them ahead of time.
And yet still no match for piranha acid. Such a shame 😌
@@bear2507 yeah smh I always leave my phone in piranha acid this is a real dealbreaker
@@DapperFella at least this proves that iphones are more durable
Daidoit lol and acid proof, literally 😂
@@weasdf8718 😂😂 have you seen the note?? Go watch a fall test mr understandable
New iphone: comes out
Techrax: back in business boys
4:01 had me dying... Dude doesn't even know that all Samsung phones comes with a pre-installed screen protector haha
Not all, only the mid budget ones and the flagship phones.
2:00 bro just someone noticed its screen 😂😂
I actually have a genuine question for you TechRax. Someone's probably asked it before and I know this is probably gonna get buried but I felt it worth asking. What do you actually do with the phones that survive all these experiments? I'm not even gonna joke around or say something about these kind of things being a waste or whatever, I just want to ask this. Like do you just return the product to the company? Do you refurbish them and use them yourself for things? What do you do with the survivors of these tests of yours?
Lol I guess this is something the company’s will just have to work on
Yeah ikr! What if i accidentally drop my phone in piranha acid..
Steve jobs up in heaven looking down smiling his ass off 🤣🤣🤣🤣
BAHAHAH
Steve jobs doesn't know where he is
3:57 ASMR starts lol😂🤣
Who else in here looking for the Apple vs Samsung comments?
Cant see them tho i came for a fight but the fight already left
@@julianmrtns1819 Dang you came in late bro.
@@Squizzybroo hahah🙈 yess i did
3:58 I literally have no words
same
Its not that the iphone is more durable its just that the reaction was more violent with s20 because of the screen protector .. it probabley reached a way higher temp because of it which caused the back to peel off .. and when that happend the solution got inside and fd the phone up
This.
thats something a samsung fan will say just admit that iphone is more durable
the heat still can be cooled via the back
@@weasdf8718 what are u even saying ... "heat can be cooled by the back" wtf do u even mean ? Also im not a samsung fan infact i stopped buying their products after the s20 came out with no headphone jack .. i dont support companies who take out features to make u pay them more .. thats also one of the reasons i never bought an iphone (except that one time just to try it out and it was so *shet*) ... did u ever study chemistry ? If u want i can go into details on the reaction that happend but u will prob not understand it ...
Or that the iPhone is more water resistant? It’s rated at a deeper water level compared to the S20. Gotta factor in everything.
This is the definition of loosing the battle but winning the war
“Surgical steel” pointing to aircraft aluminum. 🤭
bro its not the pro model only the cheaper models get the aluminum bullshit
@@Zeyek1 surgical steel my arse
Its surgical to remove your kidney to pay for that phone
the pros get the surgical grade stainless steel

Samsung was like thug life until iphone turns the game.

@Diary of Princess hye there 😍
4:00 it was a screen protecter 😂😂
When he started playing those ringtones 👀😖
Even the iPhone designs doesn't change that much but it changes a lot by the quality of the inside and durability
Quality of drop from 1 meter and crack lmao
Even you need to buy new one for that
With sucks speed of charge
@Sensei I can throw and S2 and survive, iphones have shittiest quality 😂
The Samsung comes with a screen protector
I wish apple does that
Screen protector won't do anything against this
What is surprising to you? It dissolves things made of carbon, not electronics.
Me: wants new iPhone
Techrax: what’s up guys let’s go destroy some iPhones
Samsung is better
