Lightwood Community Group public meeting

Commissioner Ben Adams and Deputy Commissioner Dave Evans recently attended a public meeting, along with Staffordshire Police, at Florence Sports and Social Club in Lightwood.
The meeting provided residents with the opportunity to raise concerns around crime, anti-social behaviour and road traffic issues.
Residents provided valuable feedback to help improve Staffordshire Police’s response and an opportunity for the Commissioner and local Commander to reassure the public on what is happening in their local area to prevent crime.
Over the last 12 months Stoke-on-Trent South has seen the following reductions in crime:
➡️ 24% reduction in ‘All Crime’
➡️ 35% reduction in Residential Burglaries
➡️ 18% reduction in Drug offences
➡️ 33% reduction in Violence offences
