I'm the proud owner of a pair of Krell KMA-160 monoblocks. They have a past, so to speak. I rebuilt them after they were involved in a house fire, and they've been non-stop reliable since I got them and rebuilt them, around 1998 or so. Still great amps to this day.
Holy SSS. IS that the guy who designed Krell amplifier. It was one of the memorable amplifier that impressed me most at a Hifi show when I was 28 years old. Respect.
Wow! Dayton Wrights. I remember hearing them at Chestnut Hill Audio on Cherry Street in Philadelphia with Jack Rubinson. To this day, I have never heard bass reproduced quite like that.
A great interview Adrian. Mr Dagostino was exciting and interested in relaying wonderful memories. I could never afford his primo equipment but appreciate his passion for the music and reproduction of it. Cheers
Fascinating conversation with Dan's 50 year history of innovation and passion in High End Audio resulting in wonderful music that we all enjoy in our homes. I agree his preamps and amps produce the magic based on designs over a lifetime of pursuing excellence.
What a wonderful segment. I was hanging on each and every word and was very disappointed when it came to an abrupt ending. A part 2 would be awesome. Well done!
Awesome video , thanks for sharing . I used to own an Aragon 4004 mkii that was designed by Dan , great amplifier. I have listened to his new amps paired with Wilson Alexandria’s and they are magical .
Who is the FW that gave this a thumbs down? FFS, it's an audio legend telling an interesting and entertaining story, What's not to like if your a hi-fi enthusiast? And if your not, why would you watch this? Thanks to all for a great interview!
Been a Krell user for eons, I received my KSA-250 in Nov. of 1990 prior I had the KSA-80 and a slew of fan-cooled-era Krells. The blue LED was a big deal at the time.
So many memories..and I’ve had Krell PAM 1 and PAM 3 ..I think it was a three.... And I had Apogee Scintillas ..but driven by Classe’ DR-3 VHC ...it was freak’n awesomeness.
Off to buy my lotto ticket so I can afford this golden gear-- Living Legend!

What a great video and very inspiring. It ended very abruptly... is there going to be a part 2 ???
Lots of history here. The Aragon 2004 was my first high end amplifier.
I also the same, I have it yet in a closet

It seems most people now hate the blue LED’s.
I remember listening to Dayton-Wright speakers at Bay-Bloor. And I also lived in London ON for four years - good memories!
The first turntable, the Clearaudio I have seen one. A beautiful piece of Engineering, unfortunately wasn’t able to hear it playing a record.
Wonderful interview that just stopped. I was hoping to hear about his current company too. Will you be posting the rest of the interview?

Sitting here watching this with the KRC-3 playing.
Really enjoyed that... Thank you...
What happened? I was enjoying the interview and then it just unceremoniously ended. Amazing, amazing interview!
Sure wish they would come out with a $5k integrated amp today...
I wish I could afford his stuff....
I didn’t like what happened at 39:01, where’s the rest? Great interview 👍
Arizona has scorpions in the bathrooms but Buffalo has gut wrenching cold. Choose Atlanta.
