It would be awesome if you covered lubricating the appetrure mech which I know you can do opening the bottom cap. Trying to find a video on it and the Romping Bronco guy seems to not want to give away the secret :D
Otherwise, great video and a good presentation with the second camera part, I know exactly what to do now. thank you a lot you are a champ!

For context: the video called "Canon AE-1 Repair" by Romping Bronco and on 11:20 he lubricates that mechanism although it is not completely seen where and how he does it, in other videos he just says "send it to me or you will break it" basically.

Is the oil going on the gear shaft or the teeth? Ordered the kit. Thanks

I line the syringe up on the shaft as I showed on the video, but the oil will work it's way onto the gears as well, so it will reach both.
