My name is pat yellowhorn n I've been tattooing for 14 yrs using the stealth machine but I always wanted a Cheyenne machine but could never get one ,I got in to tattooing for the passion of it I love to draw I'm self tought and I tattoo for my kids because it's the only way I could make money to get what they always wanted all my money goes to them ,I try so hard to pay my bills and get what they want threw tattooing . Watching your videos has inspired me to try even harder your videos are awesome , so in that I'll never quit your style in tattoo has really helped free up my style in tattooing and helped me see what I've been missing now I could really do tattooing awesome my styles in shading . It would really mean a lot to me and my kids if I could win that tattoo machine I would treat it like gold I would cherish it for the rest of my life and it would help me get my foot in the door for my own tattoo shop thank you very much for the inspiration n help in your style I am Blackfoot warrior and my clan is called lone fighter society and your born in to it and I would be proud to call you brother in tattooing thanks again and I'll never stop tattooing . ME: totally freaks out tries to play it kool, starts nervously sweating..thinks about giving up..freaks out on the inside..gets shit together pulls off another good one....every freakin time ..but I love it..

Edit: Its fine when I float with the liner, but whenever I set a similar throw with the mag, it doesnt pick up the ink in the same way if I were to set the throw closer to the tube, any thoughts? (I use Cheyenne as well by the way)
@@smclafc yea that's what I tend to do, but seeing Oliver's wizardry, I have no idea how he gets so much ink coverage with his needle length, take it easy.

Textured or TX tattoo needles are roughened needles that help put the ink in by carrying more ink into the skin. Bug pin needles are simply thinner in diameter. Why would Cheyenne call bug pin needles Textured if the two aren’t the same?

when you alter the correct way to shading something I become a 3 eyed, 11 toed, drolling from my 2nd mouth from the frustration that honest mistake causes.
Experiment with various volts on various skin types for different textures and hand speed some people faster give smooth some slower the more red the lower volts

Yeah use less needle length. I always set up my shader/packer to the depth I want to go into the skin then gently guide the tube tip along the skin

Yeah it’s way better to hang the needle out far enough not to affect ink flow, way more control
Doesn’t matter how far your needles are out (within reason of course) as long as the finesse and technique in your hand work is sound.
