They have ordered 2 new Euro 6 Stralis that will come into play when ready. Green ill be weekly and Garbage and Recycling fortnightly. An Ex Tweed is currently doing garbage this week then recycling next and an Ex Manningham on green. Hope this helped.
Nice work as usual mate. I often wonder what the contamination rate would've been like up there considering, these trucks weren't the best at keeping the materials separated. I'm expecting a compilation is in the works featuring the retiring Solo NCC trucks over the coming months. ;)
@ if you dont understand, according to one of my friends and me, i would have to get 4 split bins just to fit what we have in our bins. this includes green waste and the amount of waste and recyxcling we produce. also you cannot unload the waste compartment first as that will contaminate the recycling. im so glad they got the split system removed thank goodness
@@Notbinmaster2022 not all split bins were recycling and waste you also had a separate bin just for greens. If you can’t fit your rubbish in the bin you’d just have to produce less waste
@@Notbinmaster2022 contamination only usually occurs when the driver shakes the bin. When materials get stuck in the bin it's the homeowners fault for improper placement. And non split bins also get collected by comb lifts, comb lifts are much more reliable at getting a good grip of the bin than other grabs.

I believe there using the Richmond waste depot in East Lismore as it's solo depot. I saw this truck and 2608 ex Manningham there.

Contracted again by solo using old trucks for now from old solo contracts Tweed,Ballina,Manningham etc until the new trucks arrive.
Three bin system as well a truck for FOGO (food organics Garden organics) a truck for recycling a truck for garbage and a few spares.

Apparently according to the driver works quite well but has its mishaps here and there. Yea mate you betcha. Have been stocking up footage 🤙🏻
no offense but the split system was so shit no driver was willing to do this until now cause the residents are happy now

@ theres 3 more reasons on why split bins suck: 1) cross contamination
2) materials getting stuck in the bin
3) aligning the comb lifter with the bin
