G’day, I am a young Aussie fella from Newcastle. This channels soul purpose is to showcase the incredible machines known as ‘garbage trucks’. You may know of them as the loud truck that rolls down your street once a week to pick up the garbage from your dwelling. However to me this is a lot more then just that.
On this channel we will take a more in-depth look on garbage trucks from different regions and cities in Australia. I dedicate a lot of my time to researching and uncovering information about these machines to enhance the quality and reliability of my videos. I will travel across New South Wales and beyond to hunt down the best trucks in action. I hope this channel can prove that the stereotypical garbage truck can be a lot more than meets the eye!
Cheers, GP500 🤙🏻🇦🇺

Redlands Recycling - 1862
Redlands City Council contracts out all domestic waste pickups to locally founded company JJ’s Waste & Recycling (formerly JJ Richard’s & Sons). The fleet is made up of a mixture of Volvo JJRE’s with someone being an older body design from 2018 and some newer spares featuring the new design. JJ’s runs roughly 9-10 waste trucks, 5 recycling trucks & 2 green waste units as well as a handful of regional spares to service all mainland suburbs and island towns.
This was taken on the Thursday just been in the suburb of Redland Bay around 12pm. I also managed to track down the green waste & general waste trucks. Big fan of these Redland units as most sport a quicker arm speed then your regular JJRE truck. Cheers to the driver for being cool with the videos 👌

On the same day I managed to track down unit 1244 from the Glendenning yard I also by chance caught this truck in the corner of my eye across the highway. I was focusing on 1244 that day but I was gonna try make an effort to get a few clips of this truck too for the sake of it. After finishing with 1244 I crossed the highway and caught up to Brad in 947. I didn’t realise it straight away but af...

Just north of Perth sits Wanneroo City Council. The LGA encompasses many large estates and a handful of coastal villages. Waste & recycling collection is operated by the council themselves who run a large fleet of 16 waste trucks (2 Accos & 14 Volvos) and 12 recycling trucks (8 Volvos & 4 Accos) all these sitting on a standard Bucher base. Green waste was rolled out in June of 2021. Solo Resour...

After Solo wrapped up their operations in Newcastle late last year the full time units where dispersed throughout NSW with only 1 of the 5 being scrapped. 2211, 2212 & 2215 remain in the Hunter region as spares. 2214 now operates out of the Bangalow yard in northern NSW servicing surrounding councils such as Kyogle, Byron & Ballina. Cheers Lachlan. Love the trucks up in Redlands. Be keen to get back over there soon 🤙🏻
Nice video mate, this is probably one of my favourite QLD councils
Definitely an underrated one in my books!
yeah so much for them lid fliping max
They all have quick-ish arms. A few lid flip on and off
your truck works under water right cut across the lake behind you at the start
What💀
They all have a button that turns the truck into a submarine. The bull sharks in the lake need there rubbish picked up too!
@@GP500 😂
@ yeah called it
@ you heard the man trucks can turn into submarines as well

Nice 👍
absolute yap of a description like who are you 7 news??
What a successful year. Wow.
These videos are my guilty pleasure 😬🫣🤭
This is my favourite garbage truck channel by far. I cannot fathom the hard work that must go behind these incredible pieces of art. Thank you so much for supplying the world with this magic. Never stop shining ✨✨😁😁
What a smooth pour. Keep the hard work up. Loving the content 🤗😁😊
Nice
Glad you're catching up with the spare trucks, max im glad that the spares are still operating which it's very surprising brother
Thank you brother
Still around? Please say so 🥺🥺

Omg a truck that actually slams and isn’t a click bait title, great vid max it’s a shame it’s not like that anymore.
I know what I’m talking about, unlike some muppets 🫣 Cheers Flynn
Good stuff Max. I quite like this truck especially how it is in this video. Always satisfying hearing those slams.
Cheers Darby
Excellent video mate
slams are nice as on this
What a shit operator. At least try to look like you care when being filmed
Bloody awesome video mate! Love the rough operating style. This is a nice change from Elite 6 Buchers, love the slamming. The smaller signage on the white body looks nice, I take it was slapped on there for cheap after old signage was taken off. Cheers mate and great filming!
Cheers dude, I’m surprised they didn’t put the other design of signage the rest of the fleet has on this one. Would have looked odd though.
What’s the go with the extra mirror on the front?
Wouldn’t have a clue
Awesome video, watched it all. Nearly hoppered like 10 bins but non fell in😢

@Maitlandgarbo1809 wdym good?
@@BinKid2022 there is nothing good about bins going in fact it’s bad for the resident and they will have no bin

It is HRR or the old solo contract
