For all you hardcore dialectologists… my accent is more specifically a white New Zealand accent from the North Island. I don’t have the classic South Island rhotic ‘r’ and I was raised by an English born New Zealand mother and spent lots of time with British grandparents!

Listened back to my Accent Tag and realised I DEFINITELY don't say 'AGAIN' like I did in the video!? ahahaa 🤔
In the video I said AGAIN so it rhymes with PAIN... when actually I say AGAIN to rhyme with PEN! Hilarious to think I can't even use my actual accent when filming accent content 🤪
What words do you have multiple pronunciations for? Maybe you code switch?

i'm visiting NZ for the first time and it's such a beautiful country! didn't expect everything to be so expensive though hahaha.
also, english is my second language and distinguishing accents is usually a bit difficult (especially between kiwi and australian) but i've noticed that after being here a couple of weeks the differences start to become more noticeable and i just find that interesting :)
