- Sorry this one took a bit, I took a week to just relax and cool off after funcom deep dicked the server. Took some time to make sure I worded my goodbye properly, too. Thanks again for all the support everyone, it won't be goodbye forever. Maybe. Probably.
I'll likely setup a separate discord for non-conan content stuff, since I'll be playing other games and putting out some different content in the near future.

Been watching for a few months now, and I can confidently say from a viewers perspective you have definitely put enough work into showcasing this game and providing top quality content for us. The problem is and has always been the devs, and that's out of your control so you don't need to apologise to us because we all know how bad they are! Totally respect your decision and thanks for all the great vids and time and effort you've exerted for us to enjoy, lots of us dream of starting a project like this but 99.9% of us don't have what it takes to make it happen, so hold your head up high that you came this far!! Moving forwards, I would recommend looking at playing Rust, I've got over 5khrs in that game and it can be played very similarly to your style on Conan with a mix of pvp and raiding. In fact, content of a ''solo against the odds" nature is always in high demand, and there are hundreds of 200+ pop servers you could try out. I'm not sure if you've ever played before, but if you ever need any tips or advice on which servers/play styles would offer the best content feel free to contact me on here. All the best mate!
Thanks man, definitely looking forward to the future. I've purchased rust even though I said I never would, so we'll see what the future holds. Truthfully, I haven't ever played an FPS besides maybe EYE a few years ago, so its a very foreign skillset for me if you can believe it lul. Definitely gotta practice before I throw myself into that meat grinder.
I do enjoy your Conan videos, but mostly because you're a fun presenter of the content. I'm sure if you try another game, it'll be just as enjoyable to watch.

I play Conan Exiles on RP servers, I haven't tried the PVP as it's not my focus, but I really enjoy listening to stories. You have a nice voice and I like listening to your stories.
It's sad that I see a lot of potential to the game, but there are just so many frustrating core gameplay issues that it just makes it unplayable. Even from a PvE standpoint.
Just found your channel a few days ago. After watching all your conan vids, I really think you nailed it man. Every point you make is dead on accurate. Funcom should really hire you hahaha. I'm sad to hear you are leaving the realms of conan. But as a fellow longtime PvP player. Oh Boy do i understand. Cheers mate!
Been playing conan for 2-3 years, and i recently just quit the game. It's broken.. sadly. I've given up on funcom. I wish they did a better job to the game. It has such potential.

i dont even enjoy playing the game but u make watching it fun and i see how much effort u put into a game thats so scuffed and i think that if u put that same energy into a different game that insist shit that u would do a lot better

You are an amazing storyteller who stars feel so natural it's really easy to watch your videos and really entertaining. They might be less work maybe more work but a red versus blue Style story mold might be fun to make and fun to watch also

I hope you the best I always wanted to play Conan cuz I was big into Ark. So I thought maybe I would like this game but never got around to it. I started watching you very recently and I love your Conan videos (what I first started watching). I got to say games like this can take weeks before anything big happens I was one an alpha clan on ark one 3 different servers over 2 and half years and only had like a hand full of big all-out raids between two or more clans. I couldn't imagine putting all that work into something and having it fall apart over something you can't control(game bugs). no wait I can ark on Xbox when it first lunched lol.

ARK pve player switching to conan for something fresh here. Of all of the dozens of pvp vids I watched of this game, yours were the most enjoyable. Subscribed in hopes that whatever survival sandbox you play in next will be as enjoyable to watch as the conan ones. Good luck.
Its very clear that funcom doesnt want to work on this game anymore. Theyre just flushing out whats left of the playerbase
Good last memories of Conan (at least for now!) least I didn't stop playing due to hackers this time...
I come from the RP community on Conan and a lot of the same issues are shared. Even for what has been one of the larger communities on Conan, it is starting to die more and more. Fewer servers exist and those that are hanging on, have a sickening cycle of maxed out pop into next to no one playing due to patches. I hope you continue to make videos regardless of where they are. I am excited to keep watching.
I’ve had problems with every Funcom game I’ve owned. Even The Longest Journey, which they made many years ago, had technical issues because they shipped a whole batch of discs that couldn’t be read and you had to contact them for a replacement.
Honestly I just started playing conan just before riders of hyboria roughly (400 hours) and I’ve seen my fair share of really bad survival MMO games ark survival evolved is a very close competitor to conan both having a company that cares little about the game and Conan has really shocked my brain to see it had a cool concept but wasn’t portrayed well and you opened my eyes to see what it is

It's a damn shame this once fun game has such an incompetent company behind it. It's like the devs are just trolling the players. The amount of bugs and exploits this game has STILL is mind blowing for a AAA game and company. I put 2.5k hrs in Conan and left shortly after SIptah dropped. Ive always kept a place in my gamer's heart for Conan and wanted to come back.
Unfortunately for me the game looks even worse than when I left.
I took a break a couple months ago and still have no intention of going back. I played on the ps4 for a couple of years (so much time, effort, and money for dlcs), my final straw on pvp servers were being attacked by the same clan repeatedly (on completely different servers) who would undwrmesh or ddos to ensure a wipe. And despite me reporting to the devs multiple times, they literally saw my report(which contained actual videos of them going into the mesh.. time stamped and all) and decided not to do anything. Their response was hopefully it'll fix itself......
All too common man. More often than not the response is "hopefully it sorted itself out" in those exact words - and in a way it is sorted, in that the server effected is usually empty by the time the response rolls out. Absolutely crazy.

Just found you, and I have to throw in that Conan is also a burst game. You really should be playing it in bursts then revisit it. So, enjoy your break me hearty. However! Your strength sincerely lies in the storytelling video archtype. Be it PvP or else, you do really well at keeping people engaged with the content throughout the video with how you find ways to reel them back in or actually build up and succeed with the buildup, or pull what we in the biz call 'a masterclass subversion'. Such aaaassss, the chinese raid tower suddenly exploding. Still. Takes a lot of effort and time for those videos, and can be grating and overbearing. The people who don't understand wont really get it, but thanks for the gold you have given! May ye find success in the future.
Wish I could have gotten you to come play on my CE RP server. Basically wild west as far as PvP, ERP, etc, no mods, pretty generous sliders. I really just run it to watch the train wrecks. Also have greatly liked you Exiles content, top quality.

I had an epiphany while I was watching this. I played a lot of Ark but I never had to honeycomb a base in that game. I was wondering why, and then it hit me. Your primary defense in Ark was never your wall, it was the firing arcs of your auto-turrets.
There's no real offline defense in conan so the honey combing and stacking just delays raids for the most part.
While this is true, you still have to toughen the wall between your turrets and the generators whether that be vault dropping, or lowering foundations to double and triple wall it to protect against rocket running and such.
@@jacobdecker3310 yes but it looks different in Ark the walls and foundations end up overlapping rather than layered.
Sad that it has come to this. I have been enjoying your content even though I currently don't even play! I think you would be good at Rust or Ark, DayZ is my personal favourite

Sad to hear it mate, sort of expected it if I'm honest. Making pvp content is tricky. You need to push out pvE and more how to. Love the style so look forward to some other video regardless of game.
Hey, push out whatever content you enjoy. If you find some new games, share them us Conan people because I'm trying to find a game that would give me an easy break from Conan but so far none have really given me what Conan gives me. But I am honestly bothered by Funcom so maybe a break would be good haha.
I hear last oasis is getting decent
For an easy break I'd say sea of thieves honestly, about to put out a quick video soon from my last session. It's like a quasi-survival pvp game, but the stakes are a lot lower and it's instance based so you don't have to worry about losing stuff overnight. It's my relaxing game for sure, while still having some decent pvp moments.

Ashes of creation alpha in june ? New world in august ? There is no other well developed survival pve/pvp fantady game out there atm i think. You could maybe have fun with Last Oasis tho but zergs are a pain.

Dude i wish the combat didnt suck in this game.....i can even put up with the janky animations and hit boxes but the combat 😭 i want it so bad but i can only ever manage to play for a week or so. Over all i still love it but god damn.

Yeah they've fixed a lot of the crashes since this footage was collected a few weeks ago but there's still a lot of critical exploits built into the current version that make me pretty hesitant overall

on the server i play the alphas dont let anyone grow, today i got raided for the 3º time, so now my objective is only to raid their bases. and cause the most trouble i can.
FunCom, has a game that could potentially blow the internet.
But instead each time they blow themselves and they blow the very definition of "fun".
Switch to PS4 official servers if your looking for a lot of pvp. Raids every night. Sucks for me who works 10 hour days and raid time starts two hours before I’m even off work

Hey dude I was wondering I've been on a pve server for about 5 months and have got a lot of gear I wana keep. I fast traveled to 2 different obelisks and some douchbag had walled them on so you get trapped inside and I've lost loot numerous times because of this. Any idea how I can get them to remove it as I have asked multiple times but get no response. Could I report then to funcom or what? I got no idea where to go from here
Yes walling off obelisks is against the rules officially especially on pve servers, you can take screenshots and send them in to report it

If you want to enjoy the game come to Offical server PVP (1088) were all your dreams of hackers, cheaters and crashes, including burn accounts that consume the server everyday, while funcom does nothing about it 👌👌

conan combat looks so weird, like it's 95% failing to land sprint attacks, 5% landing the sprint attack and basically the other guy is dead
Yeah it's a bit of a weird showcase here, most of that is because when you're outnumbered your best bet is to try and just land pokes while staying mobile, and I was outgeared for a lot of these fights so I was trying my best to not get into any real trades. Leads to very drawn out and awkward combat, but that's the way to handle it in those situations

You guys can't even get into a fight without 20 fucking mobs around you. That has got to be so low key annoying.

It's almost like there is fuck all people playing PvP. its almost like PvPers migrate servers to populated ones.
Haha, I wish sometimes. On PC, the pvp community is very very small, maybe 50 or less regulars, there's typically only ever one or two servers alive at a time, so wherever you play you're going to see a lot of the same names. If I had actors I'd be able to put out better vids than me jobbing all day and taking the server down due to instability. I did at one point consider doing scripted videos like Frost does with rust, but I prefer things to feel real since I think it's more enjoyable that way.
Suggestion: try out Valheim

Remember when I played conan. And this is the exact reason I stopped. The worst pvp in any video game going.
it just blows my mind how the devs can be such trash. it would be awesome if some competent game development company would buy Conan and make it better. the concept, farming, building etc are great but the bugs and constant changes to the combat system are trash. i quit playing once they did the changes to healing when food became trash for healing. i had literally just made like 10,000 herbal teas the day before the update and they literally heal 0 now lol.
