Why is it no one has ever made a video showing the proper way to put cards into sleeves?
Countless cards have been damaged because so many collectors don't know the proper way to sleeve a card.

The card may rattle a little bit in a magnetic. If it moves too much you may want to use a smaller magnetic.

If you collect coins then you should use the standard coin-flips but put those flips in top-loaders for even more protection!

for my autos i use a sleeve a toploader and then i put it in a bag that the sleeves come i once i use all of,then

Your best bet would be to buy them from Blowoutcards or ebay.

Penny sleeves only come in one size I think you meant hard plastics or one touches?

Dave, why keep all those cards and just store them in boxes instead of selling them off to buy something of bigger excitement that you can enjoy and display? honest question as I am working on my path forward while I get back into collecting
Great video! What kind of box holds the hard top loaders? Most of the boxes I have seen just hold cards without it.

120-130 is for the average type of relic card, I believe.
is Matt Barnes a common or is he a star? there actually called hard plastics NOT top loaders. when me and my friend did shows back in the 90's and went to the supply table the boxes were marked hard plastics?
so what are your thoughts on screw downs I've seen a couple of videos where some collectors have said that they damage your cards is there any evidence or are collectors trying to give the one touch a chance? and it's not true?

Hi Dave is it bad that I keep most of my cards other then hits in binders ? Like I have all my rookies , numbered cards, inserts, and all that good stuff in binders but they are all in penny sleeves and I have them stacked flat as well every 20 pages or so I have laminated pages in between them

you will never find a rookie for 1.00 but I know what you mean sheets and binders are for the inexpensive cards like the 5.00 to 10.00?

Hey Dave I am finally going through my cards from 25 years ago and picking out the best ones from the box they have been stored in. I want to send off a 200 to get graded and was trying to figure out which top loaders to use. They are pretty much Topps and Upper Deck Baseball. I want something thick enough to protect them and not bend. Any recommendations on which top loaders size and thickness to use for this? Also to go with that what size bag to wrap around the outside. Thanks in Advance for your insight....
Craigs List hey I don’t know how long ago this was, but you can get ultra pro card saver 1’s to submit your cards for grading. And penny sleeves as well to protect them.

Best of luck Luis, buying the right supplies for your cards is worth the investment. The packs at hobby shops are also better than retail because they have better odds at hits and haven't been pack searched.

Maybe so, but I would bet that you'll never pull a card that valuable from the Dollar Tree again in your life. I'm telling you, hobby store packs are better.

Big Fan,quick question.(Be advised,this comment is sorta stupid).I know the air being very humid is no good for cards,but would being too dry be able to harm cards,possibly in fading or something like that?
+Noahs Sports Cards Hi, Dry climate is fine, the problem is heat, humidity and light. Florescent light and sunlight will fade cards and autos over time.

I would not use some of the things mention in this video.First toploaders are NOT good for storing or protecting as they damage cards please watch my video on why toploaders are bad.
+Frokie Tube I'll take my 20+ years of experience in dealing with cards and card storage over the opinion of someone who looks to be ~12. I watched your video. A lot wrong with it and I feel bad for anyone who takes your advice when it comes to sports cards, here's why:
1. You talk about price, I can get a pack of 35 standard Ultra Pro toploaders for $2.99.
2. Ultra Pro is acid-free. Your info is false. I've had Autograph cards stored in Top loaders longer than you have been alive and they are just fine.
3. Anyone with any knowledge of card storage/protection would know to put their card in a penny sleeve REGARDLESS of whether or not you are using a Card Saver or Toploader.
4. Card Savers will press the corners of thick cards if they are left in them for long periods of time.
5. If your cards are getting damaged in toploaders then you're either using the wrong size toploader or you have no idea what you're doing.
6. Your info on humidity is also wrong. Humidity will affect ANY card holder.
7. Again, you keep complaining about price, maybe do chores around the house to get money so that a $3 100ct bag of Team Bags isn't such a big deal financially for you?
Oh boy here we go. First off cards get damaged in top loader by moving IN the top loader which scratches the card also the card can easily hit the corner which damages the card. Even PSA says this. just because you have 20 plus years of experience does not mean its correct. I mention the price because why get a product that costs more and does do the job as good? also its very immature to say I "look like a 12 year old" also "do your chores around your house to make money" I do my chores and clean the house regularly. I do not expect money from doing so i'm not a brat. you seen very immature for saying that.
Also ultra pro top loaders DO CONTAIN ACID.

+Frokie Tube AGAIN, if your cards are getting damaged while inside a toploader it is your own fault. Tell me more about these damaged corners from toploaders when using them PROPERLY. In the 20+ years I've been collecting this has never happened. In fact, you are the first person I have ever heard make this claim. Probably because I am careful with my cards and do not throw them around and do not use incorrect size toploaders. Saying you look 12 is not immature, it's called an observation. I offered a suggestion to solve the money issue, if that offended you I'm not sure what to say at this point. You collect Pokemon cards where there is no variation in the thickness of the card. Sports Cards come in all different sizes and thicknesses so you literally cannot compare the two when it comes to storage. Also, show me proof that Ultra Pro Toploaders contain acid.
