The whole advantage of rwd is not inherently in the corners, it is in the weight savings. An AWD system would usually cause a weight increase of 1-200 lbs, and thats huge in racing. Because it is lighter, that's why it is better in the corners. This is true in the game because it does take weight into account. People driving with TC on are given an acceleration handicap, so that benefit is still there, albeit balanced out to give an advantage to people who drive with no assists, which is why awd is so good.
vaccuum rolls less weigh means you can take corners faster witch in this game doesn't do. I've done tests and 100 mph start on the same car against rear wheel drive the awd still speeds faster even with the rwd not wheel spinning( all assist turned of) where if weight was taken into account awd should loose as it's heavier? Awd should have more understeer as the front wheels is doing power and turning but in the game it doesn't take that into a account, top speed car is heavier so why is it when you switch awd on the top speed goes up? I use rwd and I can control and nd make and nd tune where there's is minimum wheel spin but in high speed corners and top speed awd is somehow still better when it should be the other way round
