You're not wrong. The best drift cars in this game for drift adventures online are the Willys Jeep, BMW Isetta and Dodge Dart(although FD cars like the Formula Drift Viper and Formula Drift Mark 4 Supra are also really good for drift zone scores and makes sense) But at the end of the day, this is Horizon. You can make any car work for anything if you want to(like supercar/hypercar doing rallying or cross country, or trucks doing track racing, etc)

I noticed you always go to the garage to download tunings... you can actually do that on the run. Just head over to the cars menu, then to tuning, then at the bottom of the screen you'll see a button you can hit to change between your tunings for the car or even download a completely new one.
