      I am surprised how fast many muslims change their mind about music. Isn't it surprising that when someone comes with an absolutist point of view people change their minds in an instant without thinking about it or reading other opinions from schoolars? In reality there are many contradictory hadiths on this issue, but in no part it says music is haram, it just talks about musical intruments, for example in some hadiths drums are perfectly fine to use, so why all of a sudden its wrong to used them, some even going to an absurd degree trying to imply that singing is haram (not mentioned anywhere, be it in the Quran or Hadiths).
      One day many muslims will realize they are not being islamic, just reactionary and extreme.

      @@alexandercastro3660 i want to clear your confusion,you seem to be a kind of person who reads islamic history from google. Once prophet Mohammed went to a wedding where music was playing and people were dancing so even before entering the house he disliked it and felt tired. He instantly fell asleep and woke up next morning thus missing the whole celebration. Music is a food for your brain not soul. It makes your brain picturise the things which are certainly not true and thus is a sign of shatans supermacy over your brain;(

      @@kalpjain6893 no actually not all music is haram. The muslims scholar who say music is haram . They show the example of rap,kpop etc. They tells that today's music is Haram. But not all music is haram. Some scholars says it's not music that is haram it's the way where you go. It maybe good or bad. And some muslims quit music because they were addicted to rap or filmy music and were unable to focus in their deen ( religious work). But music such as our nasheeds (Islamic moral song), children alphabet song ,rhyms, songs containing music about family value is not haram. It's actually the lyrics and immodest sound.

    • @MoonshineBeauty
      @MoonshineBeauty ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kalpjain6893 yes Music is totally haram. Because the Sunnah i.e. the prophet prohibited it. He also said there will come a time when Muslims will start to allow music. So it is forbidden, actually no one can deny that.
      Why is it forbidden? Well I cannot tell you all reasons because no one has the complete knowledge. But we know that one reason is because music is distracting from the remembrance of God. In fact back in the days when the prophet came to people to recite from the quran to them they would distract with music so that the words of Allah would not reach the people. It is a way of shaitan to capture people's hearts away from the remembrance of God.

    I got used to not listening to music for years by simply not listening, that's why I don't have the wish to listen to something when I paint or do other things. The desire to get something is like a wave which rises for several seconds and then flattens. If you can withstand this desire for those seconds, you got closer to your goal.
    So don't give up folks, you'll get used to it!

    I had stopped listening music for years. No problem at all, even though I used to be a musician, even lived from music for years.
    One day I realized that I could easily memorize a foreign language song (Japanese) that I didn't even understand what it meant, just from listening to it frequently in my car.
    I started to reflect on myself, what's the benefit of memorizing those songs, when Allah gave me the ability to memorize just from listening frequently. What a loss if what I hear is not the Quran.
    Alhamdulillah.. Since then I stopped listening to music at all (except those I accidentally heard) and I replaced it with murottal.

    There is a Bukhari Hadith about music indicates something equivalent to a party or a bar, but listening to musical songs for entertainment is not a bad thing or haram. Haram or halal depends on the lyric. I've also studied on it to find about musical instruments in quran, but I Couldn't find anything about musical instruments. There is some Hadith about it but scholars vs scholar make wars about halal-haram on music. It’s my opinion. many islamic scientists, physician, scholar or philosopher like Imam Al Ghazali, Ibn Sina, Ibn Hazm, write lot of books on it and showed good sides and benefits of musics. So It’s can discouraged yoy from Islam but not haram🔥

      First music was not haram....Because that music used to make some sense.. but now , they themselves don't know what they are saying..The music industry themselves don't know what songs they are making..

    Though I am a Muslim but I don't see any valid reason behind music being haram. Music is scientifically proven to have healing properties, the vibrations from musical instruments actually soothe our mind. Music is a type of sound and any kind of sound is just a vibration propagating through air. So why the sound produced by vocal chords of humans and animals and other natural sounds are halal but through a musical instrument it's haram.
    I feel that during the time of prophet Mohammad (swt) the music used to be a medium of spreading obscenity, that's why that sort of music was supposed to be haram. So if the music is free of any vulgarity like sufi songs then it's completely halal. 👍
