Joe is a guitar players, guitar player. His live shows have a large proportion of guitar players who gaze at the mastery being displayed, not only by Joe, but his entire band, Joe only surrounds himself with the best. I started playing around the year Joe was born, and long before he was twelve years old, he was lightyears ahead of me in every way. I discovered Joe in 2010, a year after his epic Royal Albert Hall performance, and less than a year later I saw him live for the first of six times, so far. His guitar sings to me, it talks, it cries, it weeps, it makes me feel the guitar is communicating with me, directly to my soul.

to me Joe has the ability to get emotions to come out of the guitars he plays

Anton Figg on drums is one of the best around. A South African, he may be best known as the drummer and second-in-command for Paul Shaffer and the World's Most Dangerous Band that played many years for David Letterman's late night show.

Joe's guitar is part of his body ! He's in my top 3 guitarist and as far as blues he's my favorite. His speed is mind boggling . And the cleanest player I've ever seen or heard ..

Joe is a whole other animal in music
Watch him in progression the younger years, the bar guy, he has a acoustic side second to nobody and now he puts together world class concerts.
A lot of changes over the years. He has become his own industry playing with and for so many other extremely talented people. Jimmie Barnes, etc.
so he is by far my favorite guitarist and his diversity in playing puts him as the best ever.
But don’t take my word for it.
Run down this rabbit hole. Nothing but joy.

Red Rocks is a natural amphitheater and the acoustics defy description, literally! As 14 year olds I with a couple of friends went up there and camped out while waiting for the Beatles on their first US tour in 1964...

Wanted to see this and of course, no money and no transpo. grrrr This man is phenomenal and Red Rocks is the perfect venue for the elite masters of rock music. One of the best venues in the world, set in the middle of the Rocky Mountains! You should check him out with Beth Hart....that voice of hers is really good. I am partial to Liliac's MeloDia of course, but Beth Hart has stone cold grit too!!

The guitar Joe was playing is a Gibson Les Paul gold top. The other name that you mentioned (stratosphere) would most likely be a Fender Stratocaster. Both are very popular guitars among musicians. ♥️✌🏼😎

"Gibson Stratosphere"??! I'm a drummer, and I cringed when he said that! He managed to offend Gibson and Fender in the same sentence!😅
