Bhai, its really hard. let me try something for you and I'll share if I get. till than you may use a megnet based clip.

BTW - you may use ditergent if its in the car only. if its outside (dismentaled) than mistry will clean.

The filter has male grooves on one side and female grooves on the other side. Which side goes on top and which side is on the bottom. For replacing the filter it as important to know it.
