What do boats, bikes, and RVs have in common? They all need to stay charged up while in storage, and a trickle charger is just the tool for the job.

What amp NOCO Genius triclke charger is best for a 12V AGM battery? Currently have a 1A one, but battery voltage is at 12.3V. Will a higher Amp charger push it over 12.6V?

If you use a battery charger, yes. The best charger will depend on how many house batteries you have on your 5th wheel. Here's a link to suitable chargers:

2 amps will charge your fifth wheels battery, it will just take a while. Most car batteries are 48 amp-hours, at 2 amps it would take you 24 hours to fully charge that battery. At 20 amps, it would take about 2 and a half hours.

Thanks so much, excellent video and explanations. So I have a "AIMTOM Smart Battery Charger 4 Amp 6/12V Fully Automatic Maintainer 8-Stage Charging" that I use to charge my class B RV. I need to keep battery charged because when someone installed a rearview camera, they failed to tell me it would always be "on", thereby causing the RV battery to discharge after a while. I just connected the charger to the battery after about a couple of weeks of not using it - I selected "SLA" and "car" and it reads "PON" and does not change to anything else. What does PON mean, please? Many thanks!

The PON code you're reading indicates that the battery is in standby mode, and the charger is checking the current and voltage. You'll want to contact Aimtom directly for more info as we don't carry their chargers.

You'll want to check with the manufacturer of the charger, I couldn't say without knowing the make and model number of the charger you're using.

There’s nothing of any depth to learn, it’s literally just a car charger at 2 amps instead of 10 amps. 🤷‍♂️
