I purchased Venom of Love the first morning that pre-ordering was available. I absolutely love it! I layer it with Cherry Elixer lotion and body mist from VS. The first day I wore it, I was complimented on it.
Loved this line up first of all! My current favorites have been Rosendo Mateu No 6, Vivienne Westwood Boudoir, Mula Mula Rouge Extreme, Roja Enigma, Kenzo Flower, Bodacious by Boadicea and TF Vanille Fatale. I love this time of the year for Fragrance

Oud Khol is quite challenging I smelt it last week, it's not to be blind bought, Oud Nude did not last on my skin but smells ok, I think you've got the best of the new Guerlain releases tbh
Oud Khol seemed super challenging and did not peak my interest at all lol. Hopefully I can try Oud Nude but I won't go above and beyond to get my hands on a sample. I think Tonka Imperiale has to be my next Guerlain.

I just got venom of love in the mail yesterday and its so damn delicious smelling! I cannot wait for the cooler days to bust this one out and the shipping was decent to Canada as well :) I have a navitus wishlist started now. And I got the decant of the libre the perfum in the mail the other day and its going to be one I need a bottle of. Venom of love is beautiful. It def is “same tribe” as lost cherry & love fest by kayali. I’m mad they played her with just the card inside with her name. They should have slapped her name on the bottle & box like they did with Demi. This whole wave of cherry fragrances has really gotten me into cherry fragrances. I need to go check the guerlain one next…
I'm trying that new libre. I didn't like my sample so I left it. But I've come back to it and love it! I wish i still had some Mon Guerlain left 'cause i think they would layer VERY well!
I had juuust enough MG left to try it out... nevermind. The lavender types must be different because I'm getting a metallic type of lavender smell and the powderiness is taking over the Libre.
What I can't get enough of right now is Gold Immortals by Ex Nihilo (I think is a Middle East exclusive), Choco Violet by Mancera, and The K'Bridge Club by Xerjoff, and of course (obvious for me) Angels' Share.

Finally got to sniff the Le Parfum and I think it’s safe to say, I just need to leave Libre alone. I think I’m just very much anti-lavender in fragrances 😩 I didn’t get the dialed back lavender that the reformed Libre haters are getting. All I smelled was lavender. I tried so hard 😢😅

Hi Sharida, new viewer here. How does Venom of Love compare to Mancera Chocolate & Roses or Mancera Choco Violette?? Or is there any comparison?? I know Mancera is very synthetic. Just wondering on your opinion. How does the chocolate note compare? Thanks as I'm on the fence about Venom Of Love. I hated Libre but am on the hunt for a good honey fragrance. Maybe this Libre will be better. Glad you talked about it.
The only chocolate I have from the Montale/ Mancera houses is Chocolate Greedy. Its not quite the same because I get a powdery chocolate from CG. Venom of Love is more smooth and creamy and had a dominant sour cherry accord.
The venom of love is not really anything I was expecting. It does not project. it is not strong. The opening is beautiful, but that’s about where it stops for me. It goes very quickly to a almond wood scent . There is nothing distinctive about this perfume. if someone was to walk by I probably would not even smell it as I believe it to be a skin scent. Definitely not a beast mode as some are stating. If you’re a beast mode girl/guy this is not for you. , you’re not going to be satisfied with this one.
Things wear differently on different people. This perfume lasts 12+ hours and projects VERY well on me. I get very prominent sour cherry 🍒 some creamy almond and chocolate on my skin.
I’ve written the company. I may have got a bad bottle.. I have well over 100 bottles of perfume and can smell those just fine. The Libre Le parfume projects beautifully on me and I can smell on my clothes for hours that is an absolutely beautiful scent. Venom It’s more of a skin scent. if it projected like that I would definitely agree with you, but it does not. Sprayed it on my clothing. it should’ve projected off my Clothing. absolutely nothing. I asked my friends if they could smell anything they could not not.
Dulce Diablo is the best, most photo-realistic, gourmand ever created IMO!

Duchessa is freaking gorgeous! Wearing it down. They dry down is like a sweet almond saffron. Very sophisticated scent.

Finally got to sniff the Le Parfum and I think it’s safe to say, I just need to leave Libre alone. I think I’m just very much anti-lavender in fragrances 😩 I didn’t get the dialed back lavender that the reformed Libre haters are getting. All I smelled was lavender. I tried so hard 😢😅

Venom is much more sour cherry than chocolate. Chocolate Greedy is pure powdery chocolate. Nothing a alike IMO. I will actually be layering them lol.
So I looked at the notes and I really like gourmand so I blind bought it. I need a cherry fragrance and I figured I would buy one that’s unique
I need to go back and smell the Libre le Parfum..bc it wasn't giving. However, there is no way I don't love it..lol

I have so many samples from the house I have to try. There were a couple that really smelled amazing. Can’t remember the names off top. Most are very true deep orientals.

Hi Sharida, new viewer here. How does Venom of Love compare to Mancera Chocolate & Roses or Mancera Choco Violette?? Or is there any comparison?? I know Mancera is very synthetic. Just wondering on your opinion. How does the chocolate note compare? Thanks as I'm on the fence about Venom Of Love. I hated Libre but am on the hunt for a good honey fragrance. Maybe this Libre will be better. Glad you talked about it.
The only chocolate I have from the Montale/ Mancera houses is Chocolate Greedy. Its not quite the same because I get a powdery chocolate from CG. Venom of Love is more smooth and creamy and had a dominant sour cherry accord.

The venom of love is not really anything I was expecting. It does not project. it is not strong. The opening is beautiful, but that’s about where it stops for me. It goes very quickly to a almond wood scent . There is nothing distinctive about this perfume. if someone was to walk by I probably would not even smell it as I believe it to be a skin scent. Definitely not a beast mode as some are stating. If you’re a beast mode girl/guy this is not for you. , you’re not going to be satisfied with this one.
Things wear differently on different people. This perfume lasts 12+ hours and projects VERY well on me. I get very prominent sour cherry 🍒 some creamy almond and chocolate on my skin.
I’ve written the company. I may have got a bad bottle.. I have well over 100 bottles of perfume and can smell those just fine. The Libre Le parfume projects beautifully on me and I can smell on my clothes for hours that is an absolutely beautiful scent. Venom It’s more of a skin scent. if it projected like that I would definitely agree with you, but it does not. Sprayed it on my clothing. it should’ve projected off my Clothing. absolutely nothing. I asked my friends if they could smell anything they could not not.
