The backlash of the second episode was too great. She kept promising a release date and pushed it back a few times. People were not happy and raged. 99% she won’t put herself through that again 😂😂
Yes i just started watching her channel a few weeks ago and this series came up last week. I was blown away by this. Asmr with special effects? Im really into science fiction, it would be amazing if she could continue. This is such a sophisticated production and concept compared to what other asmr artists and doing. Ear cleaning and makeup videos seems rather boring and unimaginative compared to this.
I do find it astonishing that work as detailed, precise and incredibly well executed as this, has less views than so many other popular ASMR videos. I dread to think how long it took her, I remember how often it was delayed because she kept trying to improve it and add to it. I know 1.5 million is still an incredible figure but I see it as a milestone video in ASMRs history. (I hope that doesn't sound too dramatic) :D

The production values, costume, makeup, script, acting, all the attention to detail, that she created a fucking Ad as an intro!-everything about it required an astonishing amount of creativity. It works as a short film; then when you realize it's made specifically with ASMR in mind? Holy shit. Talented af. Definitely pushes the boundaries of what ASMR can be.

Ally, I haven't gotten a chance to come here yet. I got to see this for the first time along with everyone else, and I was so impressed with the work you did. The sounds, the effects---I know how hard it is to edit an intricate video, and you guys are miles ahead of any kind of effects I have ever done, so I can't imagine how tedious this must have been at times. You should be very proud---I'm proud of you. Hey guys, I'm very sorry I've been out of touch. Not hitting the deadline of the 11th really disappointed me because I didn't want to let you guys down. So I made it a priority to knock out some unforeseen, last minute issues with the video in order to get Departure out as soon as possible. Departure ep.2 This is completely amazing- the technology- the attention to detail- the characters- the fantasy- the twist with Heather Feather - the careful deliberation over sounds and their individual relationship to personal interaction and triggers- the relationship between fantasy and the progression towards sleep- the make up- Ally you are so clever...and I am so very happy for you...my evening has been lifted not only because of the stand alone talent which you bring to asmr and the general community but because of the kind generous kind person that you are xxx PS May I add that my daughter Maya was transfixed with wide blue eyes...and kept saying...'wow' at regular intermittent intervals.
I like how you're "randomly" given the dark wood as your dream. Your stress levels would naturally increase in a thriller scenario, so those increases within the dream wouldn't be "suspicious".
ASMRrequests Oh, please complete this series with a third episode! It'll be a trilogy! I just loved it so much. I think that others who aren't really "into" ASMR would enjoy it as well. I'm a huge sci-fi nerd & I thought it was absolutely brilliant. The acting, makeup, & script, are great. The sound (obviously, it is ASMR), costume, and set design are each brilliant. I'm sure this one took a ton of work, and I'm not sure how many people you needed? You must've required a pretty talented crew. I hope that you'll see this, and I wanted to thank you for all of your hard work. Even if we never do get a third and final episode, it doesn't take away from my adoration of it. It's so completely original from anything else that I have seen. I think it'd be interesting to see some creepy/mystery/sci-fi/action/adventure - perhaps even mild thrillers in ASMR (a whole new field from what we are used to) would be amazing to see. If this were typical film length, 2-2:30hrs I wouldn't hesitate to watch. Either way, I loved this ASMRrequests & thank you!!!

That "Sherri 3000" bit is ridiculously awesome! In all honesty, I was hoping the entire 32-minute video was going to end up a Sherri 3000 infomercial / technology video brochure of sorts. You'll have almost no ASMR competition to speak of if you keep putting out content on that creative level. Love it!
Saying she would have no asmr competition if she kept this kind of creativity up is completely wrong, altho this series has a novelty factor, at the end of the day its only really the special effects people are liking here, the video itself has little to no asmr in it. If all her videos where like this, the novelty factor would wear off and people would go back to watching proper asmr videos.
DeviousXP you are right, it doesn't make it an asmr video if it only puts you to sleep. It's an asmr video if it triggers the asmr and was intended to do so. This video was intended to do so and sets off my asmr so therefore it is an asmr video. Sorry you're not feeling it. Try arguing less and focus on listening to the sounds.
I was watching the new movie Passengers with Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt and it reminded me so much of this video like the hibernation and the android bartender. It was an awesome movie. :)

I love how robotic this person feels. Like her mannerisms and responses are so.... AI-like and immersive. Like when responding to the rejection of SSRIs of course the AI would have a negative reaction, because it sees a problem it can't fix, something that goes counter to its programming. It's just little things like that which make this so good.
It was in fact a thing since Asimov set all the robotic standards with his books exploring everything about robots. Talented people in cinema, littérature, video games... or ASMR draw ideas from the same iconic old sources since the 1950's.
Literally a decade from when this got released, and years longer before this when i initially was waiting for this very sequel, and it still breaks my heart that this series had a sputtering start and an end before it ever found its groove. Im 26 now. Been rooting for this series since i was a literal preteen. Sigh.

I like how you're "randomly" given the dark wood as your dream. Your stress levels would naturally increase in a thriller scenario, so those increases within the dream wouldn't be "suspicious".

Oh, please complete this series with a third episode! It'll be a trilogy! I just loved it so much. I think that others who aren't really "into" ASMR would enjoy it as well. I'm a huge sci-fi nerd & I thought it was absolutely brilliant. The acting, makeup, & script, are great. The sound (obviously, it is ASMR), costume, and set design are each brilliant. I'm sure this one took a ton of work, and I'm not sure how many people you needed? You must've required a pretty talented crew. I hope that you'll see this, and I wanted to thank you for all of your hard work. Even if we never do get a third and final episode, it doesn't take away from my adoration of it. It's so completely original from anything else that I have seen. I think it'd be interesting to see some creepy/mystery/sci-fi/action/adventure - perhaps even mild thrillers in ASMR (a whole new field from what we are used to) would be amazing to see. If this were typical film length, 2-2:30hrs I wouldn't hesitate to watch. Either way, I loved this ASMRrequests & thank you!!!

That "Sherri 3000" bit is ridiculously awesome! In all honesty, I was hoping the entire 32-minute video was going to end up a Sherri 3000 infomercial / technology video brochure of sorts. You'll have almost no ASMR competition to speak of if you keep putting out content on that creative level. Love it!

Saying she would have no asmr competition if she kept this kind of creativity up is completely wrong, altho this series has a novelty factor, at the end of the day its only really the special effects people are liking here, the video itself has little to no asmr in it. If all her videos where like this, the novelty factor would wear off and people would go back to watching proper asmr videos.

This video was intended to do so and sets off my asmr so therefore it is an asmr video. Sorry you're not feeling it. Try arguing less and focus on listening to the sounds.

Literally a decade from when this got released, and years longer before this when i initially was waiting for this very sequel, and it still breaks my heart that this series had a sputtering start and an end before it ever found its groove.
