Thanks as always for addressing the issues that Premiere creates by developing unnecessary new features instead of optimizing the basic tools that all creators need. It's so extremely frustrating! Thanks man!
PLEASE MAKE IT EASY TO STABALIZE FOOTAGE! Resolve does it in seconds, and you don't have to nest the footage! Premier takes minutes every time, and you have to nest the clip which makes it so annoying if it's not the same size as your project.

Not really a DESTRUCTION from Adobe, but okayish features which are working perfectly fine in Resolve. I'm a heavy PP user. The total destruction will come when they fix the crashing/freezing/glitching of projects, errors during renders and so on. :)
We want to see 1. audio wave live update when you make adjustment on the audio 2. I like premiere because of scroll to move playhead rather than scroll to zoom. I miss that in Resolve. Activate that with ctrl intstead. Im going to buy speed edit just because of "scroll to move playhead". Have been editing with Premiere pro for 7 year and Resolve for 4. Incase you want to know
About the masking scroll wheel stuff, i have a tip: When you are masking and obviously need to look every frame calmly, while the program monitor is active, hold K (From the J K L shortcuts) and press L one time, this will make the timeline move only 1 frame, same thing with J (back one frame)
Great video! Adobe is doing great with these new enhancements. Now if we can get motion tracking into Premiere Pro, and a bit more fusion-like integration with After Effects and Premiere that would be aces! Thank you!🔥🔥🔥
I use both resolve and Premiere, and I love both. But I do think davinci ‘copied’ more from Adobe then the other way around 😅 That’s just how it works I guess :)
How long will it take them to start adding actual useful features? such as an AI background removal tool for example? all the other softwares are adding multiple AI features and adobe is still not doing anything about it!
Looking forward to the new scroll option for scrubbing through the video. I was just looking into that earlier. Did notice upon the new update that the auto lumetri color correction was not working. Backdated to a previous version and will wait for a fix.
They have to improve motion/mask tracking in general, Enable multiple masks/objects simultanous tracking, the process panel of tracking should go away to perform in background progress panel.
100% leave the scroll wheel to move a frame forward or back and have the addition of 'option' or 'command' + scroll wheel to zoom in and out. makes the most amount of sense
On the slim chance Adobe does read this, how about a Media Encoder panel built into Premiere, so you can see progress on your encoding/proxies etc? Would be good to have that in your workspace.
Frustratingly for Adobe users, I thought we would finally have a color preset that syncs colors across multiple clips on the timeline. However, the color grading process remains difficult and poorly optimized. Dark mode and light mode have always been options, but Adobe seems to be sleeping on this feature. WAKE UP

It's hilarious how some folks are still using Adobe Premiere, expecting it to fix their editing disasters. It's like trying to make a gourmet meal with a microwave-good luck with that! Maybe it’s time to move on to something that actually works!
First, Adobe must get rid of all of the crap pricing and membership issues, as well as providing a one-time purchase option, THEN we'll talk about what the title says.
Annoying to have to use Transform for motion blur; it should me inside Motion. And adjusting the anchor point inside Transform is annoying too. You have to change the Transform Position values to match the Anchor Point values, and can't just grab the Anchor Point in the Program Monitor like for the Motion properties.
Adobe should hotfix these bugs at least and a lot of people will be happy I think: - GPU for turbulent Displace and some other effects that are used the most - Fix broken transform (Anchor Points problem, nesting is current solution but....) - Better curves for keyframes (closer or similar to after effects one) - Better Performance overall?
Really big issue I've been running into - Multicam Audio. If you have too many multicam audio clips (just clips, no effects), it slows premiere down to a crawl. Like hitting play, waiting 10-15 seconds, and then it starts playing. Totally unusable. Not only that, but you can't flatten it to the selected audio. It just flattens to whatever the top audio is. What is this adobe?
The timeline tracks being as large as they are is quite annoying for me and I have to reduce them every time. I would like a setting where I can reduce their height as a default.
I am a video editor and my boss just asked me to switch from Resolve to Premier... This is literally just a bug fix update. Compared to resolve premier is so weird. Why dont adjustment layers change the scale of the tracks below? I used to be able to have a few tracks and a simple adjustment layer for a zoom in, but now I have to nest them and zoom on the nested clip, making any changes I want to make that much more annoying especially when I need to make a change relative to another clip not part of the nest. One thing that I am glad about. I thought I would have to add an effect to fade in/out music and audio tracks instead of being able to do it from timeline, but I guess I don't have to! I wish I could just use a good editor like Resolve, but in the defense of premier, I dont have much experionce with it, its just the differences with how it operates that I don't like.
Premiere is incomplete without After effects while resolve is a complete package Remove after effects, people will no longer use premiere ever again...
Adobe, please bring back the "Change Color to" effect. I also have a frequent bug dragging clips into the project, where when I let go of the file(s) it sends the bin in into an endless scroll through all of the clips in the project.
If you try to animate a layer via both position and scale keyframes, it gives some jumpy results even if I try to ease the keyframes it doesn't solve the problem. So the only solution I found was to nest the layer. This is such an unnecessary solution tbh, just change it to like how it's in After Effects
Fix Project Manager! I copy a project and get "file not copied, offline" when opening the copied project which is completely wrong. Hit "cancel" and still works fine with no missing media.
A beta version is now less crappy than several latest stable releases - that's just stupid. Some things that should be fixed as well: Team Projects are completely bugged - not usable at all - and that has been like that for years. Proxy files and their need to match the audio channel layout of the original. That kills many in-camera recorded proxies. More options when relinking footage to ignore specific parts of the file name (the last three letters/numbers for example) The audio peak file generation sucks, regularly starts all over again if you move or copy a project.
I only have 2 problem for the new premiere update after 24.3 1. Please bring back the track height, i always edited with that height and the new height kinda bother me so much 2. Please bring back scrolling with mouse at promgram monitor , it helps me alot when i want to tracking some obeject That's it, anyway thanks
Add some setting to sort the content of the Project panel with Bins (or folders) first and individual files/assets after them (at least in the NAME ASC/DESC sorting). It is SUPER annoying to have the bins mixed up with the files... just open the Explorer in Windows and see exactly what I mean. Thank you, Adobe!
Adobe please get back the scroller on the preview window when you zoom in!!! It was such a useful feature but it's gone and using the hand tool to move around is an extra step
Listen. When I edit, i've got all my preset-folders opened up in the effects panel. But when I search for a specific effect and apply it and then click on the "X", all the folders I've openeded before are getting closed again. WHY? I have to manually open all of them again. It is so time consuming. Please fix that, Adobe and just add a little button for "close all" or something like that, but don't close all the folders everytime I search an effect. I beg you... Thank you so much!
They better address the performance issues I genuinely don't care about new features if the core product is broken and costs me hours and hours of work Even when using proxies, extending adjustment layers is laggy, copying clips from a timeline to another is buggy and everything overall is just so slow (Specs for reference Ryzen 9 7950X, RTX 3070 Ti, 64 GB RAM)
I would also like to have an option by which you can swap layers just like we can swap 2 different shots on the timeline by holding the alt+ctrl and moving the clip!!!
premiere should add basic tracking features from after effect because like for small video stabilizing work we have to work two software it is good for less time consuming and low end computers.
I’d like to see Colour Management option to work within ACES Colour Space I’m not sure why this isn’t an option as it is in AE It’s industry standard for film and TV. Currently using Red Giant Fx Magic Bullet Looks for this option.
I absolutely hate the way the program monitor zoom has been implemented... I am constantly nudging the scroll wheel and messing up the size of my program frame when I only want to be zooming and out of that window maybe 5% of the time I am editing. Adobe - please add the option to turn this behavior OFF and also add a hotkey to return the program monitor to the default "fit to window" in a single keystroke.
Adobe: Is it possible for the size of the text box to be included in the properties saved for text styles? That property affects positioning on screen and not having it saveable and/or copy/pastable has caused a lot of tedious work on captions that have been upgraded to graphics for me.
The only great things about Premiere is the dynamic link to AE, PS, and AI. I enjoy working in AE instead of Fusion for motion graphics. Fusion is super bulky and doesn't handle text nearly as well. Premiere is trash. I wish Adobe and Blackmagic would stop competing and join forces. Let me get a dynamic link to AE inside of Resolve. Then we would all win.
This is one of many reasons I have moved away from Premiere to davinci, dont get me wrong I still use premiere when I have to, but davinci 19 just released and the update videos are all around 25mins long with major changes, quality of life and new useful features, these premiere updates are so minimal and I know it will be a buggy mess, there is no point to upgrade.
