You win i suck at projectile knowledge snapdragon is a projectile but the videos already made so like you suck
I understand what you’re saying but a flame throwers flame is purely tied to the trigger. If you stop holding it the fire cuts off unlike with snap dragon when the flames continue on, so in that aspect a lot of people will consider it a projectile
It’s basically throwing it a short distance with its breath in other words
short range projectile is still a projectile.

I don't think Jester returns Snapdragon fire, so it should still be fine..? May end up being a boring to just spam them, but I don't know if Frostbite would be possible without them lol. Also, Snow Pea's plant food is great against explorer spam iirc.

I just spam lazer bean and bonk choy, its one of the best combos to deal with jesters, lazer beam gets them low health and bonk choy finishes them off
Without projectiles jester is just a faster zombie

Started a run like this a while ago as well, but added some extra rules like I can’t use any plants that produce sun and if a lawnmower is activated I restart the level. So yeah can be a little hard sometimes but still really fun. Anyways, great video would like to see more :D

By that logic a sunflower shoots projectiles the potato mine plant food is a projectile and beans shoot out gas you can't beat the early game with anything possible to get@@Anomen77

@@FieldGrazer so I checked and 5.0.1 removed the gargantuar level podiums, so play on version 5.0.1 because you can get the gold bloom and electric current which might be helpful, if you need the aloe then just update to 5.1,1 then get it then downgrade back because it exists in 5.0.1

@@FieldGrazer it shoots fire which isn't part of its own body. Mabye like beets you could count it as a natural effect of the body but its not unreasonable to count shooting out fire as a projectile.

@danever159 If you look the zombies take damage before the fire hits them, meaning they take damage in a area not from the fire

You put the Potato Mines 3-4 tiles away from the approaching zombie, giving it just enough time to arm itself.

There is only 1 criteria to identify if the plant is a projectile or not. Jester fucking Zombies. If they spin, it is a projectile.

How is Snapdragon not a projectile plant?
Snapdragon breathes, blowing air isnt a projectile so blowing fire wouldnt be either
@@FieldGrazer I’d argue that it still is a projectile plant as it’s more so spits it. The plant food attack of this plant definitely is spitting out little fire ball projectiles in a three by three area. But at the very least if you’re not going to count its main attack as a projectile just ban the plant food attack.

Snapdragon is actually cheating, due to the level "Pirate Seas, Day 3" which is a "Cannons-Away" level, which requires you to use PROJECTILES to clear
