Yess you can! Im also a totally begginer and after 2 weeks practicing I manage to play half of the song (because for me it's still hard to play with both hands and move fast enough) i think that by the end of this month I'll be playing the song entirely. So yeah, you definitely can do it and don't be anxious and take your time to learn!

I can play somewhere in time! But everyone can do that as long as they have a piano and are not in a black hole or something. That's why I wanna learn how to play the song "Somewhere In Time".

oubearjinx I think this is another piece he only teaches half and you have to pay for the rest of the lesson, like most of this channel’s lessons! They need to let people know it’s only HALF they teach before you have to start paying around $70 every month for more lessons. It’s about average cost per week per lesson with a music tutor in person. 🙂
LA's Illusionary World thank you for the info, that’s too much a month for something not in person though. I’d pay to learn the rest of the song perhaps. Subscribing to a piano learning app is only about $150 a year.

Beautiful song but kind of an abbreviated version. Sheet music is slightly different
When I look at sheet music from different places its always slightly different for each one. As if each one is the person's own interpretation of the music. What would be nice is the official sheetmusic for the piece. Its the same for TH-cam videos, every tutorial is how the person in the video is interpreting it and making his own version.
@@johnbell3621 There is free official score in John Berry's web site and at first a few seconds were also different from official score. missed 'mi' at first phrase.

if i remember that question from you in that livestream he answered you that he don't do whole songs in the livestream.
He only plays 10 to 20 seconds of the song you want him to play in the livestream.
For a whole song tutorial lessen you need to pay a huge amount but if you can play from a topdown video you even need to pay quite a bit but not that much.
