It is so difficult to get mental health care for teenagers and children. Very difficult to get insurance to approve and pay.
It is a nightmare and ultimately a tragedy for many.

Justice was definitely served and I’m so happy for Madison and her family. I must say hearing Spencer’s mom cry just broke my heart.
Like…why do murderers/ attempted murderers just not think about their own parents or their own families and how their lives will not be normal and that they’ll constantly be ridiculed bc of their actions? I hate this for his parents too.

I caught the last bit but back for the re-watch. What a powerful statement from Madison. Grateful for that judge as well. What a long awful road behind and ahead for she and her family.

That sentence is amazing. Good on that judge. I think good judges are sick and tired of being these pukes getting off easy and doing these things again

I believe the United States has a mental health crisis. It seems like across the board there's at 3 to 6 months waiting list everywhere. Also, due to the liability, many psychiatrists and therapists seem to be very selective about only treating stable patients. I understand it is very difficult to get psychiatric care outside of the hospital when someone is in an acute crisis.

What? Im sorry, but it is a restaurant. They cannot be expected to hire security patrols to check every customers pockets. It is a public place, and this is a country that has privacy rights. Do we really want to live in a world where we are frisked at every turn when we enter or leave a public venue? This country will quickly turn into a country that is not free, if we start requiring every venue to have guard patrols and checkpoints.
That said, yes, knives and all weapons should have been kept from this guy, but realistically, the only way to completely accomplish that would have been to lock him up.

It's Kennedy Armstrong, not Rogers. Also, the mom is in the yellow tank top. The friend did nothing. The mom jumped in along with the men.

Did you make a mistake? He was charged with 2 counts of first degree “ attempted “ murder and not just murder correct? Nobody died right? The graphic at 10:20 Also in the video her Mom is in yellow, the friend is in grey and her friends mother is next to her mother. You got them wrong when seated at the table.
