Shrunken heads, celebrity poo and chocolate prime ministers are just a few of the Victor Wynd Museum’s favourite things. From the outside of this small London museum, It’s hard to tell what exactly is on display - and if you thought the taxidermy and skeletons on the ground floor were unusual just wait until you go down the spiral staircase - where things get a lot weirder. Originally intended to run for just six months, due to its popularity, eight years later the Victor Wynd museum still welcomes 300-500 people every week.

I like how he is like an old British aristocrat from the Edwardian era who drunkenly explains his curios he's collected over the years. I would not be surprised if he was drinking absinthe. I need to go to this weird shop and meet this weird man who may or may not be an Edwardian era vampire.

I went here the last time I was in London, they didn't show even half of the weird stuff on display, there was also a reptile petting zoo that night, loved it

If you pause the video at around 3:58 - 4:00 you will see what appears to be an ancient statue to the far left with the glass cracked. I believe that statue does not want to be contained in that jar and it's insinuated that the damage came from within that glass prison. Perhaps Victor Wynd should investigate this further. 2spooky4me

I have a collection of curiosities myself at home I feel a bit insecure about it sometimes My friends think it's strange when they see me pick up things I'd like to add to my collection. Just the other day I was out with my friend on the lake sitting by the fishing dock where in between the floorboards I saw a fish skeleton next to cigarette butt I decided to take it home with me and my friend told me I was weird.
What a wonderful dude with a wonderful hobby. I can get lost in this place for hours.
I remember seeing this guy on taboo or something like that. I found him very interesting and the store intrigued me, I would love to visit it one day
I visited today. An absolute pleasure. The viewing of Austin Osman Spare and Mervyn Peake works by themselves is worth the admittance fee. I also saw my favourite parasitic roundworm.
