The economy for a lot of stuff has got worse with TFS. Legendary shards being deleted has made us veteran players farm specifically for basic currency like glimmer.

Couldn’t have said it better, seems the new system punishes veterans and equally new players because new players are now on an even playing field of glimmer with us.
