I tried this style on myself with my hair straightened and it didn't look as nice as Missy's so I tried giving my hair some texture using amika texture spray and it still wasn't as nice so I curled my hair and it turned out Beautiful:) So I think when you give your hair some curl and bulk it seems to do the trick..Good Luck Sweetie!
I couldn't do it right! It took me a few try's but I finally got the first side done, but it turned out wrong. It was fishtailed but it didn't look like yours, nor did it show up on the sides. 😭. I love your videos though xxx

Your hair texture is similar to mine. Not straight, not curly, just wavy and if I braid it there are some strands up because of frizz. Other tutorials end result are too neat making me lose confidence. Yours is the perfect amount of neat while still allowing some strands messy.

Try doing it with your hair wet or putting some hairspray in all of your hair and then evenly brushing your hair through. That's what I do.
Best thing seems to be texturizing shampoo so far, Fairly given up on it.
