    I'm on chapter 4 right now. It's beautifully written. It makes me think about humans' history of enslaving each other. How we could justify doing such terrible things to each other. It's a hard read but the writing style makes it enjoyable...almost lol

      Glad you're enjoying it! I loved the writing as well, and considering it was translated from Spanish, it shows how great of a writer the translator is.

    Part way through your initial description, I was like, "oh dear, a vegan book." Haha. I might check it out. We'll see about that tbr list.
