I hate this joke so much but it always makes me laugh
thiago seems like a genuinely nice lad who would push himself and his team mates to new horizons, unlocking their abilities even more. with the limited training time with his mates and being able to connect with them for 45 minutes shows his versatility. you can argue that it's just a game of football, but the lads showed up and made him feel comfortable by passing the ball to him and allowing him to distribute the ball on the field.

Apart from being a world class player Thiago seems to be a brilliant and confident guy, fitting perfectly in and maybe lifting the team's spirit even more. His English is very good and he also speaks Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and German. Truly a man of the world and the right type for Liverpool.

He was a type of player we didn't have, a deep lying playmaker who can pull the strings. And I am also impressed by his defensive work, and the tackles and interceptions he makes. He will be very handy against teams who will drop back and allow us time on the ball. Thiago can exploit that to the fullest. I hope he starts against Arsenal. That is the sort of game he is suited for, with Arsenal playing with men behind the ball and with 5 defenders when out of possession. Thiago has the skill to unlock that defence, and pick out the runs of Salah and Mane. Can't wait to see more of Thiago!
