I have made a lot of caramel, and I was sitting here saying you can't make good caramel without butter in it, and vanilla, and you say, 'I forgot to mention', so then I knew it would turn out just fine! Instead of using water, I use the same amount of white syrup, this gives you a little thicker caramel that is just perfect for dipping apple slices in!
Surprisingly easy. I had no idea it was that easy to make. I'm thinking of buttered Mini Waffles with Carmel Sauce drizzled on them... and a side dish of Fresh Apple Sauce. Oh my, I do love the Autumn season 😍 ❤.
Yes!! I need that too!! I want to make “Savory (Plain) Crepes for Chicken & Mushroom Crepes with Béchamel & Gruyere!!😋🙌👍👍🥰 (I had these in Williamsburg, Va. & they were Delicious)!!!!😋😋👍👍
As always such a great idea! I am going to make your small batch cream scone recipe, & want to add banana. Would you be able to let me know how much banana to use? Thank you for your consideration.
It looks as if the mixutre cooled off quite a bit before you added it into the glass jar. How do you clean the pot? Hot water and soap, let it soak a bit? Off the spoon looks decadent and that's a good thing! :)
When you say "add a little flaky sea salt", how much is "a little"? Im so bad at judging these things. It always ends up too much. Would making it plain, then pouring it over a cake (for example) and THEN adding some flaky sea salt work?
I am confused with how much whipping cream you used in the video versus the recipe. You put 1/2 cream into the original mixture and then added more cream but it wasn’t in the recipe. Did I miss something?
This looks so delicious! I would probably be eating it by spoonfuls every time I walked through the kitchen
I do!
I just found your channel ❤. Having recipes for One or Two people is definitely a treat !

I haven't made the scones with banana before, so not sure how much. I'll have to experiment. Glad you enjoy the recipes.

delish!
Any chance I could switch out the dairy cream with something nondairy? Suggestions, please. And thank you! ❤
Honestly, I have no idea. Ive never made it without dairy. You could totally give it a try with maybe coconut milk??
An experiment I'd be willing to try. Thanks for your response! 😊

Yes, just soak in hot water and it will melt right off.
Ketchup and salt will clean your copper pot. Once clean get a good cleaner/polish to keep it shiny and nice.
Thanks - it's on my list to do!
Great recipe…. May I ask where you purchased your gorgeous sweater?
Thanks - it's from Jcrew Factory
It’s Very Pretty on you!!👍👍🤗😇😍
Can I use a thicker milk, like Oberweiss, instead of cream?
I'm not familiar with Oberweiss. I have only used heavy whipping cream.
🤔 can this be made with the allulose sweetner?
I'm not familiar with it, sorry
😮😊
Thanks
Will half & half work? The store next door to me doesn't carry heavy cream.
half and half will work
If you want the caramel Darker.. do you cook it longer? Before you put the Whipping cream in there??!!🤗
Maybe try using dark brown sugar?
@@LeighAnneWilkes
Thank you!! I’ll try it!!👍👍🥰
🥰😋
Thanks!
@@LeighAnneWilkes you're welcome
Worked great, but is too hard when cold. I'll have to bring it up to room temp to use it.
Yes, it needs to be served warmed.

That would definitely work, just start with a healthy pinch and go from there. You can always add more but can't take it out once it's in :)
