I was kinda skeptical of this video from the intro with the ropes history but im glad I stayed. It had Great quality production, understanding of basics, and just enough entertainment value to fill the blanks. Looking forward to use what I learned as I'm looking to replace my throttle.

I have a Honda spree from the 80's. I unscrewed the cable from the carbonator but the spring that is attached doesn't seem to want to come off very easy. Do I just pull on it until it comes loose from the metal part that you attach the cable to? Also, How do I get the old throttle cable to come off of the metal piece that is over the spring?
I'd love to see a video where you explain carburetors. Perhaps you could explain how certain types of carburetors help or hurt performance.

I need to take apart the carb to fix a broken throttle cable on a Fly 150? Mine just snapped (I assume) this morning, turn the throttle and there's no resistance

Just wish I saw what or how you missed your factory throttle tube or what not on a bogeyed to run a aftermarket carb

@@Scooterswapshop sorry for the auto correct. So for a bugeye and wanting to switch to a single cable for a aftermarket carb . With the factory throttle tube leaves the new cable short and would keep the slide open on the carb will all adjusters kept at full slack. There must be some type of modification to the factory throttle tube and or housing .

Will the the motionpro cable for bugeye work on a PWK carb?
Update: The MotionPro cable specific for 02-11 Bugeye does work with a PWK. Still recommend putting a stop in the factory throttle tube as it will twist forward.. not wheelie friendly at all until some type of stopper is used. A peice of 1/4 inch cut extruded aluminum worked for me.
