I do recall there being a fatal stabbing in the same road as the college the week he started his course. It’s some statistic for Bedford prison to be the worst in the country for lapse security.

Its basically a sheet of A4 dipped in a tub of chemicals. It gets thru the post in letters. The vapes you get in there can be altered and u just put a small bit of paper on the burner on the vape and smoke it. 1 credit card size piece of an A4 sheet was going for £25 when i was last in. No joke, the whole jail is on it. Zombies everywhere man. Bedford is/was an absolute dump. Ive been sober and clean and crime free since 2021 and have turned my life around. Bedford MADE me change. Unfortunately I seem to be one of few that it HAS changed.
Why don't the prisoners clean and fix their own cells and communal areas? Surely, or am I missing something. And if they refuse to clean, they can wallow in their own mess.
Because there is such a high turnaround of prisoners coming in and out, some of whom are respectful of their living conditions, and some who aren't/are mentally unstable/violent/have nothing to lose/do not care if they trash the place. When you are put in a cell, you could be there for a few days, or for months. Even if you had the tools or materials to improve your cell, there is not much point considering you could be shipped out at any moment.
I wonder how easy it is for someone to get data of offenders from prison systems such as offense, addresses and families from some coersed by inmates, to the ends of gang related violence or nonse-bashing
This is shocking. The state of UK prisons is actually scary at this point. And if that wasn’t bad enough there won’t even be any more capacity for prisoners soon accordingly to the ministers…
Thank you for this.. Solution Politicians need to build more prisons. Strict training for all prison employees. Increase correction Officers pay. Bring in Army Regiments. If in Russia do we in the west know how their prisoners behave? Not like the West because our Politicians are tip toeing around human rights of prisoner's, what about the victim's? What about the families of the Victim's? Prisons need to be built to house Violent, terrorist Prisoner's. Non violent prisoner's need to be housed in different prisons. But then it all comes down to the all mighty DOLLAR our Government's are Responsible for our Safety. Don't blame the Police Officer's for they arrest go to court the criminal is released on bail by our weak Laws and weak Judge's time after time. The Laws in our Countries need to be changed. If only that simple. Corruption is rife in all area's of the Criminal Justice System.. weed them out. Im really shocked in that.I found out that hmp littlehay security is very strong.they constantly on the watch and always ready for help.prison have beautifull gardens that prisoners looking after.doors should be always double checked and swiftly shut beehind.dogs very often on site.they have loads of workshops for prisoners to learn different trades.its fairly clean as some areas a done every other day and its loads of people working there.things are fixed immediatly when reported even minor.its a bit dated prison but I think its still in very good order.no mould no peeling paint,health facilities are cleaner then in hospital.I was surprised after seeing this video that its posible to be as bad as that.and prison safety is all of us responsibility mean workers ,contractors,visitors,all the staff and prisoners it self.we all have to give a due to keep place safe.to keep prisoners and public safe.by the looks this prison really need an effort.
