      @@tfontenot8089 Exactly not. It's actually pretty rare that children live up to what the parent has done. They will likely be underwhelming.
      If you doubt look up a good number of people that were exemplars of their field, athletes, musicians, scientists, etc. Then look up their progeny who followed in their fields. The vast majority of them were no where near the caliber of the parent. Think of all of the monarchs and heads of state, business owners who's children tried to take over the "business".

    Does anyone realize what his kids have to do to even be on his level??? It's unfair to compare unproven college players to a legitimate LEGEND, especially if he's their dad. Prime is a Top-5 to 10 ALL-TIME FOOTBALL GREAT! The man could literally be defined as the best pure cover corner in history; no disrespect to Darrell Green or Rod Woodson. It's unfair to compare kids to HOFers.

    Shilo is a like a redshirt(COVID) freshman while Shedeur is a true freshman. Both have four years of eligibility. Shilo has a shot of being a pro. He's pretty good in run support and in man. In zone, he has a lot of work to do but it wouldn't shock me if he became a day 2 pick in two to three years. Shedeur is still kinda raw but he looks like a 1st overall pick long-term. He reminds me of Baker Mayfield on the field without the BS. It's clear he's inspired by Tom Brady. That's who he models his game after. Both are about two to three years away.

    Deon is doing what other people have been doing for years. Putting himself in a position to give his kids an opportunity they would not have otherwise. By carrying his last name. I'm sure plenty of coaches would not have given them a fair shot. They will never be like their father because the hunger and the pressure is different. Them boys from back in the day played with heart. It's not the same. It's more about politics and the money.

    • @kevingriffith677
      @kevingriffith677 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ???? Are you delusional? The only REASON teams gave them a shot was their last name. No school would want a 5'7 slow ass DB if it wasnt for his last name and his performance showed it. Same with Shilo he's just taller. Shadeur is the only decent player in the group but he's going to get cooked in FBS play.

    • @kristlehill3898
      @kristlehill3898 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Kevin Griffith how am I delusional ??? Yes, dad may have some pull however its only so much you can do when you are not the coach, period. Aint no coach gone let you run their team from the outside. His first son didn't get the playing time. Lol, trust, just because you carry the last name does not make it easier lol but harder in some cases, especially if you can't measure up to the expectation. They will add you to the team and let you walk on for clout. Money game. However, they still can bench you and sabotage you purposely. Even Stevie Wonder can see he is creating a space for his sons. The pressure is on for them to measure up with them walking on taking spots. The spotlight is on them. He is forcing people to take a look at his sons without these moves he is making they would be unheard of just like the first son.

    Star parents create mediocre kids. Mediocre parents create star kids. It has something to do with having something to prove and not being handed down anything.As well...... Usually the youngest son goes through an excelerated process because he has the older siblings to learn from. This in turn makes it possible for the youngest to still learn by escaping that painful process the older ones went through by learning through observation.

    Deion played BOTH ways, defensive back, punt returner and reciever. Oh and he also played baseball in the MLB. To make it pro in a sport is 1% of the 1%. And to make it pro in TWO sports. Best athlete of my generation probably has an argument for the best athlete ever. And he seems to be a great father, which is often overlooked in athletes, money can buy a lot of things but can't buy time and can't buy a second chance so make the first worth it.

      Deion was WRONG ! I'm a lifelong Reds fan...he was in my opinion not even an above average MLB player. He stuck around in MLB as long as he did because he was a draw, because he was a novelty athlete that played 2 Major League sports...he put butts in seats. Look at the records of the teams he played for at the time he was with them. And as I said in an earlier post...I am biased for this reason. With his speed he could have been the greatest player of all time. And I'm saying this as someone who saw him play his entire time here in Cincy. Think about it...instead of using his greatest gift and saying " I'm the fastest man in sports...if I learn to bunt, learn to hit the ball on the ground to the Left side ( trust me on this, the few times he hit a 2 hopper to the left side of the infield it was a GUARANTEED Infield hit ) learn the Strike Zone and discipline myself to take Walks...I could be a CAREER .400 hitter, steal over 100 bases a season, walk over 100 times a season, score over 100 runs a season and be the greatest player of all time!" But instead, because of my ego...I'll swing for the fences, seldom walk, hit 5 - 6 HR's a year and be a career .263 hitter. Biggest waste of talent in MLB I have ever seen. By the way, Klay Thompson's brother plays MLB baseball. I'll agree with you on the point that it's sad that those Father's don't get love...but loudmouth Lavar Ball who SUCKED get's tons of publicity!

    Despite his kids accomplishments..Im proud of Deion for being a stand up father in his childrens lives.😍

    Deion is smart he will push his kids to the be the best, but sometimes the kids can't take the the pressure, in Japan and Korea sometimes the the kids crack or even commit suicide. They can't handle the pressure. Compare to poor kids around the world the pressure is nothing compared to worrying what are they going to eat tonight.

    Shedeur Sanders is only 2nd to Bryce Young as a College QB. Sanders could start on any Powerhouse Team in the country and contribute to it as the QB.

    Deion would change the complexion of a game. When you have a corner so good the quarter back would not throw to his side the game became infinitely easier for the defense. Unless you're a football purist you cannot begin to understand how Deion changed schemes and even the approach offences took to win a game. Most folks have 0 track minds!

    Problem with all kids of very wealthy parents, they don't have the same bare hunger for by poverty to succeed at all cost......they just don't have that pure motivation n desire to push past the point of pain and strive to achieve the impossible! Too many distractions with the name.🙏
