Very, very, veeeery nice little thrower! Really impressive and i love the "retro" design!👍 If there has to be found a "flaw" at any price, i would say, the warmer light of the Amuntorch would be a bit nicer and a tailswitch would be great. But this is "nitpicking on highest level". Thank you very much for the presentation! ❤
Hey man I just order the if22a being delivered tomorrow and I was just thinking about 3d printing a holster for it! Couldn't believe it when I saw exactly what I was thinking in your vid haha I would love to have the file dude 👍
@@wearandtear6692 your awesome brother 🇺🇸, you're awesome, I bet the silver one is awesome as well, I will definitely get your package out my friend, I promise I won't leave you hanging, stay safe my friend and I hope you have a awesome Thanksgiving day
Yea but how difficult is it to find the power switch at night because finding those side switches typically are not always easy unless they are lit up...
If you line up the clip with the button, it is hard to miss it. Might take a second more than a tail switch, but it works fine to me. I also have the T40R with a tail switch, but the IF22A with its ramp-up feature and no flood (very discrete and powerful beam) is the best to me.
Would love the file! That holster is exactly what I need to print to attach to my bike.. reaching in my pocket while riding to sweep a field with the if22a is not easy. I considered trying to design a holster but I'm not great with fusion 360 yet and didn't find one. Is the lens head of the if25a more concentric to the body size of the if22a? Easier to pocket?
I am happy to send you the file. However, did you think about one of these rotational holsters: th-cam.com/video/09YOr_7cKAQ/w-d-xo.html I use them every night shift with many different lights. The IF22A fits very well too.
I own the if22a and love it...I'm curious as to why your if22a beamshots look so blue?...mine is white even if it's next to a very warm tint..great vid bro.
Hi there, thank you for your comment. Mine is white to. Maybe the water vapor in the air that shifts the color a bit? If 22a is nice, I have it stationed in my jacket.
@@omegarad123 I try to reply but at times I might overlook a comment or get no notification. My channel is small and I can still keep up. I use my lights every day, some of them. I work a night shift right now so plenty of opportunity.
I've had this light for a year now. It does not have turbo or moonlight memory. It only had memory in low medium and high and is a great light. I dunt believe it is the anderil ui. Sorry about spelling. I use the step method settings
It just distributes the light in a different (more homogeneous) way. A TIR-lens like on the IF22A shapes the beam with a lens and the internal reflection it creates. The only system where you loose a lot of light are zoomie-lights. They are much less bright zoomed in as you loose much light in the then elongated focusing system. Important is a clear front lens that lets the light go through. Cheap lights with plastic lenses and stuff are often horrible in that area.
Mine has ATR and does not go beyond a conservative 49°C on a hot summer day. Even if I push it and make sure it stays on max output it hardly goes beyond 50°C which is still pretty cool for a light like that. It has excellent heat dissipation on top of it all. Maybe you have a version that allows you to drive the light harder? I don't know, but Sofirn at times makes special versions of light that can run harder and also hotter. I would contact their support if you really feel uncomfortable with the light, they are very helpful. - Markus
@@wearandtear6692 Does that infer it runs hot, and hot is normal. Mine got so hot, I got a refund and threw it in the trash. Must have been defective. Could hardly touch it all the way to end of handle.
@@caroltenge5147 All of those smaller high powered lights can run hot. The IF22A only does run really hot when you force it to ramp up when the automatic wants it to reduce the output. Maybe it was defective but there was no need to discard it. Components are worth something and even a defective unit can be sold/repaired.

Yes, and very compact. However, I have replaced it with the larger but more capable TD01. I agree 100%. With this light I can accept the tradeoff, usually I would not be ok with a lack of a good tailswitch.

Unscrew the tailcap briefly and/or try a different cable if it actually did not charge.
