The "middle part" of the pattern might not have gotten through to the gobbler. Keep in mind that the pattern exits the barrel in a cylinder pattern. If the front of the cylinder contacts the tree first it might very well have blown the pattern apart. Best wishes!

I’ve had a mishap as well 2 years ago. Definitely dampens you’re mood until you get back around to finishing the job. Great Video!

I hate misses too. They just keep playing over and over again in my mind wondering, what happened. They move their head like a pop can on a rubber band. It's harder than one thinks. You heading to Florida for the opener this year?
